Love the look of these but you need to make sure you have a small ratchet because the bolts are in a very tight space.

Looks great and no more hood flutter. Mine was pretty tight to latch but overall super happy.

Like the sturdiness and tight. The only issue is the screws unwinding when you travel

Bought the ones with the flag on it as I wanted something better than the stock hood latches. They looked great, held the hood well. But after a few months the plastic piece that keeps them latched broke. Now I’m going to have to buy something else to fix this problem as it’s unsafe to drive as it doesn’t retain it from coming undone anymore.

These look great on my ole Orangy as I call her, 2011 Sahara!Easy to replace, take the time to adjust them by moving the bottom piece around to get it level with top piece.The only tricky part is getting yourself in to the 13mm on the back or inside of the fender. I just let my grille down to get a bit of extra wiggle room for my large hands. After that it was super simple.These look great once installed, seem to hold my hood securely and seem to be very good quality. Happy with the blacked out look they are providing.Highly recommended. Instructions could use some help honestly, if you need help there are good videos online of how to remove your hood latch. Its pretty simple after you understand what needs to be done, took me about twenty minutes start to finish. My large hands didn't really help my situation. Could be done probably in 15 minutes. Easy to do, all tools for the new hardware is included. You'll need a 13mm socket for bottom factory piece on back side of fender, and a 10mm socket for the top piece attached to hood, to remove the factory latch pieces, these are not included. I would recommend a 1/4 ratchet for the fender as its a really tight fit, you might use a 3/8 if you have an eight or ten inch extension to get in underneath the grille/fender bracing, might work, I just lowered my grille and used a 1/4 inch drive, it was quick and painless also.I did use my factory nut fastners on the top part that attaches to the hood. They have a nut washer made on the nut, the nuts provided do not have a washer on them, factory nut fit, I used it due to this.While adjusting these lay a towel down on front fender, they can be really tight until adjusted, trying to get them back loose to adjust takes some effort and you might hit your fender trying to pull them back from the unlatched position, just lay something out to protect your fender if you care about your paint while doing the adjustment.They look really great once installed!

I was given the Hood Latches Catch Kit with U.S. Flag for an honest reviewWhile was browsing through my list a potential review items I found the hood latches with American flags on them for a Jeep and on further investigation discovered they would fit on my husband’s Jeep. When I showed them to him, he agreed they looked cool in the picture and asked me to get them.Upon receiving them we checked them out and they were definitely very cool and they look phenomenal on my husband’s Jeep Rubicon. What wasn’t phenomenal in the 3-hour installation were the directions that came with the kit, 3rd party commentary or the right-side latch which needed to be filed down to make it close.I heard a lot of expletives during the installation process to confirm that it is not an easy process even if then ended results look pretty freaking awesome.
