Beautiful story of love and acceptance
I must start off with the fact that the daddy trope has never been one I’ve loved. I’ve read some, and I always felt something was missing. Hayden is able to tell a story full of love and self discovery involving BDSM/daddy and giant little that is complete. The thing always missing was the connection between two people. Hayden is not a new author to me, and is in fact my favorite because of how well he’s is able to tell a story with emotion that really gets you invested in his characters. I can’t recommend this more, even if this is a trope you’ve never really loved before. The intimate scenes, and not the sexy time ones, will melt your heart. As well the precious kitten who’s name I will not spoil!

Sweet and loving story of belonging
I love this new author, he always steps out of the box and brings out the caring, sweet, innocence and compassion with a little sexy of his characters. He captures the essence of the young at heart and brings out their inner most fantasies. I never know what to expect, but I loved Nicholas and Dylan. Dylan is so sweet, a little quirky and needs to feel like he belongs and cared about. When he and Nicholas end up working together for a project of Nicholas' they find it hard to keep the emotions they feel away from the job. They were exactly what they needed together to fit the pieces they were missing individually. I loved the kitten, it was a perfect addition for Dylan's character.

Love it!
What a fun and amazing read! I read it in one day, couldn't put it down. The story had great flow, lovable characters, and just enough steam.

Oh so beautiful
Hayden knows how to tell a beautiful story. With all the feels. This one is no different. Sexy, hot, caring, and I was left speechless many times. A few scenes left me breathless and wanting more! Let’s not forget that amazing HEA too!!!!

Very nice read!
I normally go for paranormal/shifter books, but saw the cover of this and the blurb sounded great. Hayden is a new to me author. The book flowed well, a slow burn with just enough of a hint of sexiness to make you want to turn the page.Great job Hayden

Well written
The sad/sweet story line is really good. The journeys of self discovery and the release of hurt and guilt are well done and of course there is enough heat to keep things nice and interesting. This book is definitely worth reading.

When an author tries to follow a trend
This may be more of a rant than a review. There will be spoilers. It's clear from reading this book that the author has little to no experience with BDSM, good Doms or littles. Honestly, giving this book 2 stars is generosity at this point. Yes Daddy books are super popular right now, but that doesn't mean just anyone can write a good one.First, this book is not well written. 90% of the book is Nicholas' angst about being a Dom again and allowing himself to feel again..blah blah blah. At 60% it had grown more than tedious to read his point of view. We never learned exactly what was said about him that caused him to become a recluse, but if he was called a bad Dom, well that was the truth. I will write more on that later.Dylan is 19, straight out of foster care and struggling to make ends meet. He's starved for any kind of attention and affection. His friend recommends modeling and he's choses because of his innocence. He agrees to the job and moves out into the woods with an absolute stranger and within a week, he's in love. Oy.I know that these type of "romance" books aren't meant to be a how to guide to BDSM. However, if you are going to write about it, you best know what your taking about.Issue #1-there's a huge power imbalance already. Dylan is desperate for this job and knows he has to do well in order to make it in the industry. He can't help but follow what Nicholas says because he fears he'll be sent home. Nicholas admits, at some point in the book, to creating these scenarios to make Dylan want to stay even though he has no plans of keeping him around.Issue #2-Nicholas is a horrible Dom. Along with leading Dylan into a lifestyle without any real guidance, he also plays with Dylan's emotions and feelings. Their "talk" before they started their D/s relationship is a joke. No real talk of limits, rules, roles, safety. He does mention safe words to Dylan, but there's no other guidance. Dylan asks to be crucified.....what?? Nicholas puts him on the cross and it seems that Dylan is left to hang and while being impaled on a toy attached to a pole. That doesn't sound safe or sane to me.Issue #3-The scenes. Nicholas ties Dylan to tree during one of the photoshoots. He wants Dylans's arms to hurt. He wants him in pain for the photo shoot. Dylan's basically naked against rough tree bark and his arms and hands are going numb all while Nicholas is paying him zero attention. Dylan finally gives into the pain and he watches Nicholas pick up his camera. He literally can't feel his arms or hands and this is supposed to be ok.Scene #2. After Dylan's crucified, Nicholas leaves him to clean up and meet him up stairs. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK?!?!?!? There's absolutely no aftercare. Nicholas barely pays him any attention and Dylan basically takes a shower and goes to bed.Scene #2-Dylan is put in a swing with his arms and legs bound. They start playing and Nicholas leaves. Just leaves. Doesn't tell Dylan where he is going or when he'll be back. Dylan starts to panic and Nicholas walks back in with his camera and asks Dylan if he was scared Again, Nicholas leaves Dylan to clean up after himself and offers no aftercare. Dylan tells Nicholas he loves him and Nicholas leaves without a word. No aftercare, no reassurance that he would be more emotional because of the adrenaline... nothing. The final straw for me is when Nicholas tells Dylan that he's a little and Nicholas isn't a Daddy. At no point in this book did Dylan give off any type of little vibe. Nicholas watches him with the kitten and all of a sudden Dylan's a little. COME ON!!! He doesn't even correctly explain what a little is to Dylan. All in all this book was far from enjoyable. I do not understand the 4 and 5 star reviews for this book, but everyone has their own taste in books...and this one just isn't mine.

Unique and engaging
What a unique approach to a Daddy book. The book is a very subtle exploration of how the dynamic develops between two remarkably different people in hugely different situations and places in their lives.Dylan is down on his luck. He’s been going from low paying job to job, barely able to pay his bills, but unable to stand working in the dumps he’s chosen. But he’s not sure what else to do. Two of his friends convince him to submit some facial photographs to a modeling agency to see if he gets any bites for a contract. It may not be regular work, but any money is better than none, right?Nicholas is a photographer, famous for intimate, romantic pictures of men. He’s shown series throughout the years that have made him a rich man, but a scandal in his last contract forced him to take a year off to get his mind back in order and heal his heartbreak. As Nicholas and Dylan work together, the dynamic slowly reveals itself. Dylan likes to serve, shows an almost childlike excitement towards new things (and his kitty!), and blossoms under Nicholas’ praise. Nicholas is a Dom, but hung up his hat after the scandal that hurt him, but strongly feels the connection he has with Dylan and the natural way their relationship is evolving. They experiment, they thrive, and they both learn that maybe they’re what each other needs. The kinky “tools of the trade” don’t even show up until later in the book. This is not an in-your-face kinky book. It’s almost entirely about the emotion and dynamic that develops between the characters and is beautiful in that simplicity. It does not need the props for the story to shine. The budding relationship between the two MCs was wonderful to watch.

Didn't get it
This is a new author to me but as I love a daddy/boy story and the reviews were all 5 stars i felt i had to check it out. I honestly feel like i read a different book to everyone else. I didn't get it. I didn't get the whole photography shoot thing at all, just something about it didn't ring true. Add in the the fact that both characters were instantly infatuated with each other just frustrated me. I wasn't invested, I didn't really care were the story was going. Overall not for me.

Finally a Forever Home
MM, Age gap romance, easy to read, page-turner, HEA. Dylan has never had a settled happy home life and has had no luck romantically either. Out of work yet again, his friend suggests modelling and photographer Nicholas selects Dylan to be his model for his new 'boys' series. A sweet then steamy story of two men discovering their true selves.

All the feels!
This is a different style of daddy story but it will not disappoint you. A tale of finding each other and putting the pieces back together. To heal and find their true selves. A deliciously slow burn that peaks at the perfect time. My heart is full and happy and I wish I could wrap Dylan in a giant hug forever!
