Makes tea time easy
The handle bracket of my beloved Dansk tea kettle broke and couldn't be repaired. It didn't have a whistle, I don't like tea kettle whistles. Instead I use "The Pot Watcher", a thick glass disc that sits at bottom of the kettle and rattles when the water boils. So my search was narrowed by no whistles. This kettle checked most boxes: stainless steel, large capacity, no visible whistle and not bad looking. Found it has a "hummer" in the lid, rather annoying and don't be out of the kitchen you won't hear it. If you don't fit the lid tightly it doesn't work. I continue to use my pot watcher. Yes it is light weight, but heats water in a short time (about 6-7 minutes). The handle stays cool, no hot pad needed. The instructions said not to fill beyond the fill line. I never found the line, even used a flashlight to shine into kettle. No problem, I filled my teapot with water, poured the water into the kettle and used the embossed design to determine the water level needed. I like the spout cover, it's cute. Is this my forever tea kettle, I don't think so, but for now it fits my needs, and adds a bit of bling to my stove top. I'd recommend it to a friend who needs serviceable kettle at a lower cost. Also, find a "My Pot Watcher" if you don't like whistles. I found mine about 12 years ago at a Goodwill store.

Beautiful sound
The media could not be loaded. I initially purchased this product for its large capacity and beautiful design and was pleasantly surprised when the sound that that came out was less of a police siren and more like a harmonica. I can make tea at night to relax without waking the whole house. The design on the outside is elegant and beautiful but still practical and easy to clean. Pouring is easy and it doesnt make a mess so long as you move the flap covering the spout. I can fill this kettle almost to the brim which makes making tea for my large family a blessing rather than a chore. The base is large enough to cover the largest burner on my stove leaving no exposed flame and transferring heat well. The handle moves out of the way for easy filling and is far enough away from the kettle that it doesn't get too hot to handle with bare hands. I definitely recommend this kettle for any tea or coffee enthusiasts.

Lit started rusting.
The lid started rusting on the inside pretty quickly. Other than that, it's adorable and I love it.

Perfect
We needed a water holder on our wood stove, to add humidity..but we also got a beautiful, useful teapot..any time I want a hot cup of tea..I can just walk over to the stove and fill my cup! My daughter says I am saving myself a step! I will miss this come summer! This tea pot holds close to a gallon of water and is well made! Very happy with it!!Great price too!

Cheap, scary handle
Thin aluminum - worthless as anything but decoration- do not buy!

It’s okay…
Big tea drinker here, it was finally time to retire my old tea kettle. This one heats up water pretty quickly, but it does not stay warm due to how thin the metal is. I was also disappointed that it arrived with several scratches on it. If you’re looking for something cheap, in the meantime, this will do. Otherwise, save your money and buy a better product.

Just ok
Pros: 1)perfect size 2)seems fairly sturdy 3) different low pitched whistle - not bad thoCons: 1)the spout design doesn't let all the water drain completely ( gross and eventual rust) so I will have to dry it out w a paper towel2) it took over 14 minutes hard boiling for the whistle to finally go off. At that point a quarter of my water had evaporated.3) the handle rotates. Don't knowni missed that in reading previous reviews. Basically when ur pouring boiling liquid out, the handle is made to move, which seems super sketchy to me. It does not lock in place to pour safely.Be careful w this "feature".4) the whistle isn't loud enough to hear if ur not standing close to the stove. So far this pot is ok, when it poops out or I get burned, I'll be looking for another one. I wouldn't recommend this teapot.

Good quality and good price
Very surprised at the quality for the price. Lots of choice out there but very expensive. This is quality and now saving money on our electricity bill. Also heats a good quantity of water.

My whistling kettle won't whistle 🥲
Nice product. Holds a lot of water but it simply won't whistle 😪 boils water like it should.

Arrived dented
Arrived dented, very lightweight but means it’s also very thin so when it boils it rocks ? I would not recommend this kettle/ also the metal flap on the spout is crooked so hands off slightly which is very annoying as it’s stopping the whistle working, all in all a bad buy.
