(original review:) I ordered this case in the gold. I would not recommend this color. It is not gold like the picture looks. It is yellow. I believe it cheapens the gold color of the iPhone. However, I do believe the quality of the case is fine, but the color is substandard. I returned my "yellow" (gold) case and ordered the same one one in clear. If I'm going to enjoy a gold iPhone, then I'd like to see the gold -- or at least match it!!UPDATE: I returned the gold (yellow) for the clear. This case is great. Shows off the gold of the iPhone 7, slim, perfect fit, all buttons can be easily accessed and it has a nice feel. It is NOT slippery so helps eliminate drops, and yet it is not sticky so it is hard to slide in a pocket or purse -- just the right texture. The lip or band of protection on the front is perfect without being obtrusive. Really would recommend this case!!!

The edge trim on the case is a grungy transparent yellow-gold rubber. Looks like clear plastic that sat in the sun for a year straight and got discolored. My only complaint is that the color is not as described or expected as I was looking for a case with a GOLD colored edge. I like the material and it seems like it will protect it from the abuse my phone takes which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1. Still olan on using it but it’s not a “pretty” case.

Nicely made and great quality. However, I ordered the one with gold and the one I received was more of a clear yellow, so I was disappointed because the color looks nothing like the picture. Specifically purchased it because I wanted a clear case with gold outlining.

VERY impressed with this case! I love that you can actually see the gold phone. My last cover for the iPhone 6 was opaque (and blue) and I had forgotten how nice the phone looked before it went into a case since I only saw blue the entire time I was using it. It was also a gold phone. The case is beveled so protects the front screen (I still use an additional screen protector on it) and also protects the camera on back while still maintaining the sleek profile; not bulky at all. Very easy to put on and has a bit of a non-slip grip feel to the edges without feeling too rubbery. I saw someone mentioned the buttons which are also protected from pocket/purse cooties and easy to use. The 'silence' switch is the only one that is uncovered so you can easily switch it when needed. Well done!

This looks nothing like the description, it is closer to a yellow/beige like a dirty plastic color. Sent back.

I love the i-blason case! This is the second one I purchased, the first one was 2 years old and I decided it was getting a little worn looking. I am pretty hard on my phone case and I think for it to last 2 years is pretty amazing. I think it’s a great product.

I tend to have a more oily skin texture and I am the type of person who touches my face often, the surface of the case tends to collect the oils from my fingers and make the case very slippery and its kind of gross, I feel as if I have to wipe off the screen and back of my phone in order for it to feel clean.

Good case quality wise. Very basic with color only on sides. I got the gold and would not describe it as gold and it does not match the picture at all. More of a dark yellow. Slightly gold like in bright sunlight ONLY.
