Not heat-proof
Thought I had found the perfect product to sit my elevated fire-pit on. Product arrived well-packaged and with a very practical storage bag - but on first use the ground under the mat was left scorched. The pit was at least 1ft (30cm) clear of the ground, but the heat made it through.

Under my Solo Stove Fire Pit
I have synthetic grass and wanted to keep embers from my Solo Stove Fire pit from melting it. I have the small Ranger model and this mat does the job. It has caught wayward embers. They safely burn out on the mat and keep my grass safe.

A bit on the light duty side.
I have only used this mat once in a test burn and it only got one ember on it. Seems fire resistant but could be a little thicker for the price in my opinion.

Quality large size fire pits mat
Delivery of the mat is quick, 2 days and it arrived. I really like the the fire pit mat as it protects the pavers from sparks residual. That's what it makes for and it deliver the job.
