Nice work jacket with lots of pockets
Best Heavy Duty Work Jacket I've ever owned.I have now purchased 3 of these within a few months. The first one is a Gray/Black Parka that is great for work (field supervising construction workers). It is rugged enough if I need to give the guys a hand, but nice enough to interface with my customers. The second one is the Dark Earth which I think may be an exclusive color for Amazon. The color goes with anything! The third one was for my brother-in-law's Christmas gift.Pros:1) Extremely warm, quilted inside, and is comfortable2) Appears to be durable, metal zipper track, heavy duty snaps on every pocket and at wrists3) 5 inside Pockets, 7 outside Pockets, all quite roomy. One is a perfect fit for my business cards4) 3 sets of double pull strings to adjust fit: one at chest, one at waist, one on hood.5) Appearance is nice, doesn't look cheap. Stitching consistent, looks durable and adds aesthetics6) Water and wind resistant: haven't yet verified the claims, but so far have had no issues7) Removable lined hood using a zipper to attach/detach8) Reflective strip is nice when I walk my dog along a road at night.9) High collar keeps wind out around the neck, especially if you are layered.10) Side pockets even function as hand warmersCons:1) I wished that there was a place to put my pens as all pockets use a snap or zipper2) I wished that the inside breast pocket was not zippered as the zipper my scratch my cell phone glassAll and all, the cons are only my wishes and may not even be valid. This is a feature-rich work jacket. I have gotten compliments on the looks.I am 5'10" and weigh about 160 lbs. Normally I buy Men's Large, but I'm glad that I bought a Men's Medium. A standard parka is longer than a jacket, and a jacket typically fits around the waist. This is longer than a jacket but shorter than a parka. A smaller than normal size fits me perfectly in between.Would I recommend this jacket? ABSOLUTELY YES!

Simply fantastic
This coat, parka, jacket.... whatever you want to call it is fantastic. For this review, I will be calling it a coat. For the upcoming winter season I needed a new coat. My last one did great until it fell apart from over usage in many Midwestern winters. My the stupid thing rest in pieces. So, Rather than going on to wal-mart or (insert name of store here), and deal with people, lines, my habit of compulsive buying (one day i went out for soda, came back with a laptop and a new dog. Forgot the soda. True story.) I figured i would purchase online from Amazon. After hunting around the website for a good bit, i found this, and purchased it. (as well as a dog collar and some DVD-R's that I probably really didn't need). When i got it, i was impressed.Oh my the pockets! So many! Not to mention it looks great... seriously. People at work won't shut there pie holes on how great the coat looks. It's very warm. Seriously. For as thin as it is, It has kept me warm so far this fall season in tropical Michigan.Word of caution to potential buyers of this coat: People may think you work for Caterpillar. Had a gentleman approach me and tell me that he use to service caterpillar equipment and shook my hand. I thought at first he was just reminiscing about his days of working for the company. Then he asked me if "Dave" still worked there. I said, "wait, who?" That's when it dawned on this gentleman that i was in fact just an imposter, poser if you will. He walked away confused and i think he muttered something under his breath about how i wasted 12 seconds of his life or something. Poor guy.At any rate, don't waste any more of your time with my review. Buy this! I promise you will not regret it.Pro's:Pockets - lots of them!Reflectors on front and back so you don't get run over or something.WarmHoodiestylishCons:None ... go buy the thing already. gesh.UPDATE: Two winters of use -This was my coat for 2013/14 Winter (one of the worse on record for my area) AND for the 2014/15 winter. It's still ticking along as if it's new. Unlike my dog. It likes to use my floor at times as its designated bio disposal location. I have asked him to stop, even offered the four legged thing money to stop. He just sniffs me and farts.Right, back with the coat review: It still looks new, as if I just bought it yesterday. It has not disapointed me. Unlike my laptop, that died a horible tragic death after if fell off my balcony and bounced on the concrete below bounced like 3 times and then landed in the yard, right on top of a rare pile of my dogs magical bio waste. The one time the thing decided to use the outside as it's bathroom destination, my laptop finds it. Fantastic.Summary: Laptop dead, Dog is confused on where it should go. Coat, awesome. Buy the coat.UPDATE: Thanksgiving 2016: The dog says hi. I think. I don't speak Dog. But he just barked when i started to type.Ok, so I bought this coat three years ago. It is still in tip top shape. Still like new, still awesome. I named it Gary. Gary the awesome coat. Don't judge. You probably had an imaginary friend when you were younger. Well my imaginary friend is my coat, Gary.If you are still on the fence about buying this, i have a few words for you. First, get off the fence. That is just awkward. Unless you need to be on it for the free wifi signal you are getting from your neighbor or something. This coat has paid for itself over the many years i have owned it. I can't stress to you enough to just buy it.The fit is good, easy to clean and looks pretty good. Stay warm my fellow internet shoppers!LAST UPDATE! (7/17/2018)It's July of 2018. My coat is sleeping comfortably in the closet waiting for winter to spring upon us once again. While it still has some time to slumber before it is awaken, I am comforted to know that it still is in fact the best coat that has ever been created by mankind. That's right, i went there. I have not had to buy a new one for five years now. Half a decade. I'm pretty sure I can call the coat a good purchase now.Dog is good. Farts a lot. He has faults but i love him.Coat? No. It doesn't fart. It's not alive. Still in perfect condition after five years. So, after half a decade of reviewing the coat, if you still are not unsure, then i would just recommend moving to Arizona. I don't think you have to deal with coats then. This will be my last update of this coat. I am now retiring from this review. I wish you the warmest of winters and a happy and healthy life my fellow amazon shopper!

Awesome coat great price
I paid $60 for this $120 coat and only thing I don’t like is the collar is right in your face maybe without hood on or a washing would relax it but it has a ton of pockets it’s warm as all get out, and keeps you dry. Very high quality coat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ one thing they do run a little big. I am 160lbs 5’10” and wear a medium. Plenty of room not too big not too small.

Spring or Fall Coat only
Well made but the name is deceptive. It implies a winter jacket, but this is only good to -15C Love the look of it and the numerous pockets. Seller won't ship to rural PO Boxes or post offices, so we had to travel over an hour, to a relative's place in the city to pick it up.

Will be buying one again
First off, similar to what I read in other reviews, I found it does fit kind of large. I ended up returning the medium I first bought and got a small instead. I’m 5’9” 180lbs, and the small is slightly snug, but in a good way. It fits very nice.I have just started wearing the same jacket for my 3rd winter now and it is still going strong. I work construction outside everyday, all year round in Ontario and this is one of the best jackets I’ve purchased for work in 15 years. It keeps me warm (when dressed appropriately underneath), lots of pockets, nice big removable hood to block the wind, and it is water proof for the most part. Water will soak through on days when it is pouring rain. But on average it keeps me dry. And it is not overly bulky. This jacket is still in good shape, no rips or tears yet after 3 years.I will be buying it again.
