Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We used this to lift roof shingles, saving our backs. The ladder rungs didn’t appreciate the weight, but the hoist didn’t mind at all!

Great hoist! Got it to lift Thule roof top cargo box to 12 ft garage ceiling. Works great. Easily lifted me (200#) dead weight so not even a slight sound of struggle. Cargo box is only 65 lbs so shouldn’t have any issues. I made a double pully on a 2x4 and ratchet strap sling that costs way less than the Thule ceiling mount system and best part is rather than Thules manual crank lifting, this hoist gives you an electric push button. Super easy to use. Little faster motor speed than I expected but not a problem. Works as described. Would’ve loved a wireless remote, but I couldn’t find one and for this price wouldn’t expect wireless.

I purchased this to help remove the hard top off of my Jeep. The winch worked great, the bar and hookup I made for it was a failure! After a couple of mods to the hookup, I finally got it to work flawlessly. This had nothing to do with the winch itself, but rather my fabrication of the bracketry for the hard top. The winch is very fast, I would suggest using it for the highest weight limit and hooking the hook to the bracket and use the pulley. This has reduced the speed to a manageable speed when lifting the top. The only issue that I really have with this, is the same as everyone else. Why make a winch that is designed to hook to a ceiling with a 30ft. reach only have a 5 ft remote? I like others will be modifying the cord and making it longer after I use it a few more times and make sure it isn't going to fail any time soon. The motor is very quiet and did not get hot to the touch after using it a few times in a row. I just wish I had purchased this years ago. I can highly recommend this to anyone that needs a hoist in their garage.

I installed the winch above my attic door to help lift boxes, plastic bins etc. this has been a great help for my wife and I as our ladder only supports 250 pounds and trying to carrying a box or bin can be dangerous.It’s a very easy install and easy to use.

Does what its supposed to do at a reasonable price. Mounted the hoist in my garage attic to lift off my jk hard top. Should have bought this a long time ago.

Only thing I had to do was put a longer remote cable on it. If you are just hanging it in a normal garage the remote cord provided will be fine.I like the fact that a 3 ft, 6 ft lift strap was included along with a snatch block to run a two part line.

I’m very pleased and impressed with the quality, especially for the price. I’m using the hoist in the attic and this unit is perfect. I’ve only used it a few times so I cannot comment on durability yet, but I will update this later on.
