The suction cup didn't work w/o the superglue, which I didn't want to use on my car.The mirror clap worked in my 2016 but, didn't open wide enough, plus there wasn't any surface to grip on, in my 2023 eyesight thingamajig.So I used this mount, on a piece that can be replaced, if necessary.Screwed it in and, it works so much better than the others, in my 2023 car.Plus it has a smaller profile and, takes up less space than the suction cup I was using.Bite the bullet and, find a place in a cheap, replaceable part and screw it in.Ram mounts, x grip has held every phone I have owned so far.With 360° cellphone cases.Ram mount has more options than any other mounts, imo

I use this in my 4runner for a phone mount. I put a decent amount of force on it when putting a phone into a spring-loaded holder, and the arm attached to it holds firmly. No bending or any sign of failure.
