Sturdy, stable and reasonably easy to assemble
Yes, it appears that there are many parts when you lay them out for assembly, but it went together very easily - perhaps due to our extensive experience assembling IKEA products in our younger years <g>, and without a hitch. It's heavy...over 100 lbs....and we decided to give it a coat of lemon oil on the cottage wood top to shine it up a bit. The drawers are not very deep, a drawback for those that want to stow large items there, but worked great for my collection of dinner napkins and rings. The wine rack is removable if you choose not to use it. We had leftover hardware and no damaged pieces, save a light scratch along the bottom that was not visible once it was in place in our very sunny dining room. Everything lined up perfectly and it looks very nice with our matching black and cottage wood table and chairs, also from Home Styles. The woods in this Home styles set are not a perfect match, but we didn't expect that. For the price, this is an excellent buffet for a smaller dining room. Will post photos later with an update.

Great Look for Price!
For relatively inexpensive furniture this looks great once assembled. I replaced the cabinet hardware with upgraded handles and pulls. I also did not insert the wine rack as I wanted the storage space. I was able to put everything I had in my old 60" sideboard into this 41" unit with room to spare. The assembly is time consuming, many pieces to deal with but not too difficult. As others have said some minor scratches which are easily dealt with using black permanent marker. Drawers glide adequately. Very sturdy piece once assembled. Would recommend to anyone needing large storage in a small space.

Very solid piece
Given that there are pull out drawers, there's a lot to assemble but everything is laid out well and extra parts are included. Solid, attractive, and functional. Well packed for shipment, which is important because it's heavy. The top is shipped in a separate box, because there are several colors of tops available.
