Initially when the product went onto the skin it felt hydrating, but because it is water based, once it was dry there was no residue- so skin did not feel dewy or that a moisturiser had been used.I then did some research because it has rave reviews and I have other ELF that work perfectly. So it turns out this product isn’t for people who are older than a teenager/young adult. If you are reaching the stage where you’re starting to invest in anti aging products, water based moisturiser products are not for you.However if you are younger and have dry skin, this is great because it won’t clod your pores and cause acne. It will moisturise without leaving a residue. So if you are prone to dry skin and get spots from time to time; this less heavy hydrating product is perfect for you.However if you’re looking for something more thick and creamy- go for a cream based moisturiser.
