I get cold sores and almost nothing helps. Ive tried other patches. These work betternfor some reason and actually seem to speed up the healing time. They stay put once applied. The only thing is they are hard to remove from the packaging and sometimes I ruinna couple when trying to take out of packaging, which sucks. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Because of how thin they are, they need to come up with a better way to package them so you don't ruin them when peeling them open.

Loved how you don't have to touch the affected area and the speed at which the product heals was amazing! However, they need to be replaced more frequently than described in other reviews. Once wet with saliva at all, they begin to come off. So had to buy another pack. But.. I bought another pack because it's a lot better than using ointment!!

I love these patches. They stay on well, decrease the pain of a cold sore, and help treat the spot so it doesn't spread. They can be a bit difficult to apply WELL but it improves as you use them. I've been using these for a while now but this time I got a defective batch. The patch was actually stuck to the green protective case instead of the plastic piece. I took pictures of them being stuck on the wrong side and I tried to peel it off to try to use it but it was not use. I had to throw the entire package away.

These aren’t optional THEY’RE essential if you suffer from fever blisters/cold sores. Before these I was using band aids at night to keep my fever blisters from spreading. During the day I was trying to cover my blisters up with makeup no bueno. But once I found these and learned how to use them. There is a learning curve for these. I was impressed. They not only protect the area that’s infected from spreading they all help heal. They camouflage the ugliness of the blister/sore as well. And I have used makeup over them with success. They’re worth the price and they give you a lot my packs have lasted me well over a year because I’m usually successfully with getting rid of a fever blister fast just by taking lysine. But when things go bad i reach for these. If your on the fence get off run and go get these.

I will break out in sores when I'm stressed but I keep these on hand with me and it does the trick to keep the area contained. Helps soothe the itchiness and conceals the look of the cold sore.I find the price on Amazon to be the best. Most stores like Walgreens or CVS tend to jack up the prices

This will shorten your cold sore by days compared to creams. It prevents air from getting to the sore, preventing it from spreading. Great value for a hugely upgraded product. Very glad I found them.

These little gems have been absolute LIFESAVERS!I tried everything before finding these - I’d never even had a cold sore before, so didn’t really know what was best to use. I tried Abreva - no help. Cold Sore Kur - no help. Peroxide - no help. Kept getting additional little ones spreading across my top lip - UNTIL I USED THIS!1) You legitimately really cannot see these things unless you’re looking really hard. (At least when they’re fully on your lips - I would guess you could cut them carefully as well if you wanted it a little smaller.)2) They stick really well and for a good amount of time. I’ve got them wrapped around the underside of my lip where there’s moisture and they stay put for about 6-8 hours — I did this so I didn’t have them above my lip line — guessing they’d stick longer if I placed them higher and partially onto the skin above my lip.3) They take the pain away! It’s instant relief - amazing bc mine were stinging so much!4) They stop the spread. (This was the biggest thing for me!!!)5) They absolutely speed up healing. I’ve been using these for only 24 hours and they look 100x better already - less inflamed, smaller, and no new ones!I would definitely recommend trying these to anyone who has/gets cold sores - they’re a game changer!

I had a massive cold sore under my nose that got infected. It was unsightly and I didn’t want it to get further infected. Plus, creams tend to get all over my pillow at night. I used these patches during recovery. I don’t necessarily think they sped up the healing process, but they did a good job of protecting the sore from additional germs/contamination. The edges did come up if I talked a lot, smiled/laughed a lot, or moved my mouth a lot, because of the location of the sore. While not unnoticeable, I liked the patch better in public than going out with the cold sore. I even put makeup over it to match my skin. Not sure if that was better, but it wasn’t ridiculous looking.

Brilliant product. Suffering from cold sores can be embarrassing. These patches cover the cold sore and help draw out the fluid. They provide a perfect cover although not 100% invisible.They stop you having to touch the affected area especially if you are used to rubbing cream in which helps reduce the chance of spreading.

I'm not normally one for reviews unless it' very bad or borderline dangerous but had to do one for this product . I ordered these in desperation as I'd woken up with the mother of all cold sores and had one about 6 weeks earlier so was feeling very down.I managed to get a packet from the chemist as I couldn't wait , I must add I had never tried them before and would have done anything to help the pain and embarrassment of yet another 10 days hiding awayI applied on the first day and was pretty impressed with it's camouflage qualities and the patch was big enough to cover my monstrosity , so day 1 was good.The pain was reduced but I still knew I had a sore but nowhere near as painful as before .Day 2 ,another good day, my sore is barely visible under the patch and has given me the confidence to go out and look people in the eye. Unless you know it is there you wouldn't see it in normal social circumstancesDay 3. Today would be the time when a sore for me starts looking the worst. The horrid scabbing and yellow , brown and red rice crispy on the lip..but not today . It appears to not allow the scabbing to form and apart from some translucent skin it again is still barely visible under the patch and no pain eitherSo for the first part of a horrendous cold sore these patches have been a godsend . I won't know if they heal any quicker (about 10 days for me) but really confident because of no scab forming this will be at least a couple of days less than usualApplication is incredibly easy without having to touch the patch itself with fingers and I apply first thing in the morning and just before bedtime . No problem with it falling off but cream must not be applied first like anything with an adhesive backingRead the instructions first, don't be tempted to remove for a few hours as it won't work .I haven't tried applying make up over it as I don't wear much unless for special occasions but can't see why it isn't possible to cover the patch without detrimental effects . It does state on the packet that you can apply make up over the top .I love the product so much I ordered 3 packs so I always have plenty on me, keep some in my bag, car and at home as the sooner you apply the betterTime to update and it is a week ago today with no sore . These have been such a revelation and will no longer worry too much about getting another cold sore.Yes, I'd prefer not to have any but whilst I have these little things then the pain will be far less and the social stigma of others seeing such a mess on ones face has goneThere was not one scab formed, and this wasn't one of those little ones it was a monster . No patch on today and apart from a little pail pink mark barely visible without make up this is the quickest I have got over one, normally 10 days but still left with a scarIf you follow the instructions to the letter on the packet especially how to apply you won't go wrong ..so glad I found these

Good quality and quantity cold sore patches. Easy to use and plenty in each pack. Good value for money as there are 3 packs of 15 patches with long expiry dates. Really do help with the healing of cold sores and keeps affected area protected from outer contaminants. Have purchased many times, would happily purchase again. Definitely recommend for all who are able to use these patches. When a cold sore attacks, I only use these along with L-lysine tablets to help speed up the healing process.
