Okay so right off the bat, you will need 1 or 2 buddies to help you out with this project. The directions should really be stapled and more organized but the common man can figure it out. Upon receiving I do recommend that you make sure that you apply the brackets on your truck first and then mess with the side step itself. The brackets should be fitted well onto the truck before installation. The side step that attaches to the plank itself should be tightened from the opposite ends of each other (from very end to very end) this will prevent the flex a lot of people experience. Also, the bolts that come with these steps need to be turned clockwise as much as possible so there is no possibility of flexing when stepping on to the truck. I personally weigh 200lbs and did not experience significant flexing feels like any others. I do not suggest jumping up and down on them but they will hold.For the money I spent, I am really pleased. The design is really cool and made my truck look different. I really wish they would come up with a better way to mount the side steps but you can make it work. Trust me, it’s kind of hard to figure out at first how the mounts fit onto the side step, but when you figure it out it will come on like a light bulb. Just make sure which type of mounts you have on your truck. There are two types I happened to have both. Don’t worry the instructions will explain.Like I said before: the more help you have the easier your life will be. Three people should be sufficient but I’m sure 2 can do it. I recommend having a drill, 2/3 spare ratchets or wrenches and a magnetic bowl to hold on to the nuts and bolts. They’re are over 200 pieces and you will not want to lose anything.All in all I am pleased with how the truck turned out. Five stars.

Perfect install on a 2020 Ram 3500 Megacab. Very stable, little to no flex when standing on. Would absolutely buy again.

I purchase a set for my 2012 Dodge 1500. Looks beady and very sturdy. People always came up and asked where I purchased them. Bought a new 2022 Dodge 2500 mega cab and bought another set for that truck. Why spend several hundreds of dollars for quality you can afford.

Lets start off, these are the least expensive running boards on Amazon. I am 325lbs they flex a little. They looks nice, some of the welds look a little bad but for the price point I'll try them out. Easy installation. No drilling needed. Probably from china but mailed from Canada.

There was not sufficient number of nuts to complete the installation. I had to drive to the local hardware store and spend $11.00 on 12 nuts. I should be reimbursed for that. Thank you
