This is the cutest dress. It's got a good stretch where you want it. Great dress for summer and very comfortable.

PERFECT and flattering fit. I posted a pic to help anyone around my same size. I’m 5’3 and 125 lbs and ordered a size small.The only thing I had to alter were the straps. They were about 2 inches too long (I have a short torso so anything with straps, I usually have to alter!)The material has a bit of stretch.The fabric is not see through.It zips in the back and the buttons on the front are sewn on/ fake. I love this bc I don’t have to worry about a button popping open (like hello there boobs).It’s hit or miss with this Belle Poque brand though. I ordered a skirt and the buttons were sewn on uneven and one side was longer than the other. So just be wary!

I bought this dress for my ”Shrimp on the Barbie” Halloween costume and it was perfect! The fabric is pretty good quality and the fit was great. I got a medium and I’m glad I did because I usually expect clothes like this from Amazon to run small. It has stretchy side panels so it can accommodate people who are between a medium and a large on top easily. The skirt was perfect with a crinoline I also bought on Amazon. The only reason for a 4 rating is the very top wasn’t cut as well as I would have liked and kind of puckered. I probably wouldn’t wear this for everyday life, but it was perfect for a costume. There are no pockets or lining but the fabric is not see-through.

I purchased the black dress and the material is very thick and stiff. Overall, the dress is fine and true to size, possibly a tad on the smaller size. The chest area fits funny, the buttons stretch in a weird way and the chest area doesn’t lay as flat as it should. I’m 5ft and it hits me mid calf. The ruching on the sides in the chest area is too puffy and looks unflattering. Luckily, I will wear this with a cardigan, otherwise, it would look ugly. It’s a decent dress, don’t love it.

Threw it on out of the bag & am impressed with the quality and fit. It has a lot of material in the skirt with the pleats so it’s nice and full, flowy & if it’s shear at all you can’t tell through all the fabric (strawberry print version). The top bodice fits like a glove - 5’7”, 155lbs, 36B. It has stretch on the sides so I would assume it could accommodate larger breasts but it would probably be a squeeze as I already feel some light rubbing near my armpits from the tightness BUT I’d rather it fit snug in this style than have a loose unfilled bodice. I ordered my normal size in a medium. I also ordered the matching skirt but sized up as medium is sold out so I’ll see how that fits when it arrives. Would definitely order again & can’t wait to wear this summer with my strawberry purse and red heart sunglasses 👍🏻🍓👍🏻🍓👍🏻

I ordered this dress for a "through the decades" themed night at a work conference. I normally wear a size 16 XL, but I have recently lost a bit a weight and am down to a 14. I ordered a 2XL because I was worried it would be too tight. It was definitely loose, and I could have sized down to at least an XL, possibly, a L. I would say to order your normal size.It is super cute, though! I think I will have it altered so that I can continue to wear it!
