My middle daughter has back problems and one of things we heard could help with the pain is getting her a rolling backpack. We picked this brand because it's the best out there, and this backpack rolled well and held all of her junior high school supplies (which is a lot). The only down side was that it was heavy to pick up and using the straps was basically impossible. It did not convert easy so she only was able to use the rolling style. Also, the price was a lot and more than I think was fair for what you got. Overall, not a bad bag and she was content with it.

I got this for my child, those school supplies can be heavy. It's not healthy for a 5th grader to carry 50 pounds on his back. This made all the difference.After a year of use the backpack has held pretty well, the only visible wear is near the wheels and that's to be expected.

It’s a very nice and well made backpack, hopefully it will last long since she will have more books in her backpack.

I love this backpack for my daughter for school. She has so much to carry and it was to much stress with a regular backpack

Daughter loved the design, both asthetically and functionally. However, after five months of daily use, the wheels have worn down to nubs and there are holes in the underside of the main compartment. I was shocked! the one she had in middle school (LL Bean, maybe?) lasted three years, and this didn't even make it through one school year! Now we're scrambling to find a replacement...
