Such a cute bird house & I can smell the wood. Just perfect for the birds & it hangs beautifully at our pomegranate tree.

Love my new bird house!
Love my birdhouse! I hung it in a tree outside our front window along with a birdfeeder and already in a few days we have birds living in it. Makes my day to look out and see them flying in and out. Can't wait to see little baby birds soon.

Natural Wood and Rustic Birdhouse
This Natural Wood Birdhouse arrived safely, no broken parts. It is a nice size and has a large Access Opening on the back to clean out old nesting materials. The hanging supplies were inside the Birdhouse and includes Screws for hanging on a house & what they call a 9 hook but looks more like a ? made of brass with twine for an alternative to hang from a branch or a pole.When I removed the Birdhouse from the box there was a strong smell, possibly from the natural wood or possibly a chemical for pest control. I am airing it out. The construction seems good, there are a lot of cracks between the rounded bottom slats but that may be good for more ventilation than just the little triangular holes at the peak of the roof in the front and back.It is a cute design, I like the rounded bottom. It will make a nice space for a nest. The only thing I question is the little porch or guard roost on the front. It doesn't seem like a good gripping spot for little bird feet. I might glue on a twig.I plan to paint it so it doesn't stand out when against my house or hanging in my tree.Overall, out of the box, I am satisfied.

The birds LOVE it!!
A new “couple” has moved in! There are sticks & twigs sticking out the doorway but no babies yet! They seem to be just getting started! They chose this bird house over the other one as the doorway is bigger & easier to get inside! It is very well made, easy to clean/wash out, so NO smell! The price was great!! It came all together, no screws necessary! It is a very happy addition to my garden! Thank you to whoever made it! A happy bird returns!
