I purchased this doll for my niece and she loves it. I only have one complaint and that is the hair seems to fall off pretty easily when she carries it around.

First the physical stats. This is a Rag Doll writ large. I gave it a good looking over when it arrived and it is well made, the only "hard bit" being a hook that the doll is stored on before you buy it which is easily removed. I wouldn't feel any worries about giving it to a child over two years old. Its face does look slightly better than the photo', .with an almost "English Country Milk Maid" look. It is very thin, which some people might see as "programming a child to see one body type as right", but children are a lot smarter than people think.I bought this doll for the daughter of an old friend who was facing a very serious operation which would leave her virtually bed bound for several days, and arranged for it to be in bed alongside her when she came round. It was love at first sight. The doll is nearly as tall as she is, and they are both fair haired. She named the doll Ame (pronounced Amy). The nurses and doctors played along getting Ame her own name wristband and even a fake set of medical records.Ame was played with almost constantly for the four days they were in hospital even surviving getting caught in bits of the beds side rails a couple of times, and when they came home you would have though they were conjoined twins.Somehow a five star rating doesn't seem enough considering the pleasure this doll is giving a little girl.

Wonderful present for a lovely lady with alzheimers. It brings hours of fun and interaction. She really is a very pretty doll and is a good size to sit nicely on the chair or bed. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

Doll's face is so much prettier in real life! Very sweet, and much larger than anticipated, even when given the measurements. Very good value for money, sure to make any little girl happy!

This item is absolutely Fabulous and so cheap I have seen similar dolls a third of the height and 3 times more expensive. this was a present but so brilliant that I am going to order another one and sit her on my bed...so if you are looking for a Fabulous Doll for someone this is PERFECT...........
