Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a 10.5-year-old male cat and a 7-year-old female, (both ‘rescues’). Over the years, they've received a rather large collection of toys.They have a toy box upstairs and down, which hold their collection whenever I gather them up while cleaning the house.I first bought the SmartyKat Chit Chatter toy about 2 or 3 years ago and it was immediately obvious that my female cat loved it!Over the years, of all the toys she has and plays with, the SmartyKat Chit Chatter (with what looks to me like a “blue mustache”), is the one toy she ALWAYS carries over to me when she wants to play! Seriously!Anyway, I noticed that even though her favorite toy still chatters, it was showing signs of being well-used. So, a week ago, I bought a flurry of new toys for the two of them.But I had forgotten the name of the toy that my female cat loved so much. My search through the list of my Amazon previously purchased cat toys didn’t help because many of the items didn’t have any pictures.I spent almost an hour going through page after page of cat toys in Amazon as I searched for that "blue-mustached ball". Then, when I was about to give up, I found it!!I was very happy that I made the extra effort because when all their new toys in the Amazon order arrived, it wasn’t long before I felt (and heard) a toy bounce off my foot! Yes, my female was now bringing the new "blue-mustached ball" to me to play!I know cats tend to have their personal preferences for everything from food, to beds, to toys and more, so I can’t guarantee that your cat will love this toy as much as mine does.But at under $7.00, it’s well worth spending for your cat! I strongly recommend it and as I mentioned earlier, the chatter-box in the first one that I bought 3 years ago is still working perfectly.It’s safe to say that the sound the toy makes will last as long as the toy’s construction, if not longer! 5-STARS ALL THE WAY!

This is such an awesome toy!! I randomly hear it start chirping throughout the day as 1 of the kitties starts batting it around. We have had it over a month, it gets played with several times a day and it has no visible wear. It is a cute little thing that doesn't get in the way. The cats bat it around, run around holding it in their mouth, and sometimes even sleep with it (to keep it away from the other kitties I'm sure!!)

I have two older cats that do not play with many of their toys anymore, except for this one. They love to play with this especially in the middle of the night. I wake up and hear the chirping and know they are tossing it all around. Some mornings it is even in front of my bedroom door.

I bought this for my GodKitties, and had it layed out to wrap and send for Christmas. My own cat sniffed it, and took off with it under the bed! Guess it's a keeper! It's a lil bigger then the toys we normally buy, bc my cat likes to carry them in her mouth, but it wasn't huge or anything. Definitely cat sized.P.S. had to order another for the GodKitties.

The first one I received worked ok. I just bought this again & it didn't work at all. Disappointed & won't take the time to return. 50/50 chance of it working.
