This book helped to explain how to read the questions and exactly what was being asked. Once i read the beginning it was like a light switch was tirned on. Not only does it have an answer key at the back for the test questions it has a rational section as to why the correct answer is correct. Some questions have more than one right answer.... And this explains the thought behind the right answer... A MUST HAVE!

Ordered for my Grandson to study for National EMT certification test.

I used the book to help out before I could get the online subscription. I passed the AEMT on my 1st attempt! I have not yet been working in the field as a basic EMT yet, also after going back to school to move up to AEMT, I have been out of school for almost a year before I took the test, I bought this book and latter signed up for the online subscription a month before I was to take my NREMT exam and passed on the 1st try!!!! Use this to help you if your short on funds but if you have the money get the online subscription!!!

EMT National Training is the real deal. I used this study guide as well as their online website to prepare for my AEMT. The questions are very similar in wording in content. You still have to your part and study your books as well as other materials but they do an excellent job of getting you ready for how the test in presented. I highly recommend this guide, it helped me pass on my first attempt!

Some questions are asked to go off the national registery skill sheets and the first thing is it says is to nake sure that we have BSI and to make sure that the scene is safe.

Awesome book! Maybe the person writing the negative review isn't up to current standards but this book reflects everything we had went over in class. I have been an EMT for 5 years and just went through an AEMT class with people that just took their NREMT for the first time for EMT. They used the EMT study guide in this series to study for their test and all passed first time go. They are the ones that directed me towards this book and I have been thoroughly enjoying it to help me as I will be taking my AEMT NREMT next week.

I bought this book to assist me with getting through the NREMT AEMT cognitive test and I feel after this purchase I had a successful first time passing the exam highly recommend this to any student going through the course
