273603 2 cu. ft. All Natural Raised Bed & Potting Mix

I did not have the best luck with this soil and left a negative review. The manufacturer reached out to me and made an honest attempt to rectify the situation. So i changed my review from negative to positive. It says alot to stand behind your product.

I used to have good success with this soil, but no more. It smells like creosote and latex paint. The black color is unnatural. Absolutely nothing, not even weeds, would grow in my last batch of this soil. It is a complete barren wasteland. It sure seems like ground up railroad ties, or something similar that is not environmentally safe, not organic, and will not grow anything. This soil has DESTROYED my raised beds. It will all have to be dug out and replaced.

This stuff is not real soil, because absolutely nothing grows in it. I planted seeds indoors under grow lights, exactly the same way I’ve done every year. Only difference is, I used this kelloggs organic soil, and the seeds sprouted and never grew more than 1” tall. I left the seedlings under the grow lights for 6 weeks (was too busy to transplant) and the seedlings never grew more than 1” tall- in 6 weeks! Finally I transplanted the poor plants outside and they grew, since they were no longer in the awful Kelloggs soil.Absolutely, do not buy.

Worst soil I have ever used. The veggie garden was a total bust. Tomatoes and potatoes grew tall and thin with no produce. Green bean leaves were chlorotic and the burpless cucumbers were short, fat and seedy. The perennials were unhappy also. I wasted 100s of dollars on this stuff. No amount of fertilizer or amendments helped
