This is a great product with great value for the money you spend! I have purchased 3 sets of these - 1 for outdoor use at my home, and 2 for indoor use where I work. The two sets that I use on a display at work have worked great since they arrived! I love the amount of control I have over the colors and the brightness, and the different presets in the app are cool!The one I have outside was working great too, but about a month ago, one of the lights stopped working properly. At first it wouldn't turn on at all, then it WOULD turn on, but it would slowly and dimly flash random colors. I went onto the app, found the support page, and described the issue I was having. Within a day their customer service replied back in the app, asked for a video of the issue, and requested my shipping info to send me a replacement. Within hours of me sending the info, they replied that they were shipping out a new one!Upon further inspection of the cords after removing it from my yard, it looks like an animal chewed through the cord attached to the malfunctioning light. When I get the replacement lights that they send I will make sure to conceal the cords better so no pests get to them.

I really wanted to replace my individual yard lights outside with something smart. This Govee product was a perfect replacement for what I had. Unfortunately this product does not last outdoors as I've had multiple sets fail. I purchased a 4 head set and a 6 head set in August 2023 and both sets have failed.The first 4 head set failed just about 1 year of ownership. It refused to power on and showed no indication of life. Govee did quickly replace this set.On my 6 head set the last light in the chain wouldn't hold its color and would flicker between multiple colors. One of the LED's inside was dead and eventually the whole head died. Since I still had the broken set noted above I tried pulling one of the heads off of that and using it as a replacement. That worked for several months. Unfortunately now that whole set strobes between green and red. Even unplugging it and plugging it back in won't reset it. The app shows it's bluetooth connected but it won't respond. Currently I just have it unplugged.Big disapointment as these were great last Christmas and really added life to my front yard. I'm not willing to purchase another set though with the failures I've had. Even the space heater I had from Govee got recalled for fire safety issues.Unfortunately I'm no longer able to recommend Govee products and am looking to replace all my Govee products.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the 4 pack years ago when Govee first came out and was one of those unknown brands. Instead of using these lights for my landscaping, I use them for Holiday light setups. I uploaded some videos of my setups recently this past year. I love them! The only downside would be that the control box is NOT weatherproof. What I did to make mine survive the Arizona monsoons and heavy rain was to tuck them under the roof tiles so it wouldn't get wet. That's after I wrapped the box with waterproofing tape. Other than that, the lights themselves are weatherproof. The only other downfall in my honest opinion, is that they could be much brighter. But then again, I personally like things bright. Even with those 2 cons, the pros are way too much to list. What makes these better is the application Govee Home makes the lights that much better as you're able to make them come to life. Watch the videos and you'll understand. In the Halloween video, I used them to simulate a lightning storm. On the New Years, I did a Colorful scene. For Christmas, I did the Christmas scene. You are even able to create your own scenes in the app! In these setups I also have a pair of Govee Smart LED Bulbs (H-6008) in my garage coach lights. I also have blue light strips underneath the eves on my 1st story roofline (Govee). The other lights are all different brands including the automated ones in my bushes. Govee is my go-to for anything that has to do with LED's! I hope the videos show enough to convince you to purchase them as they have so many different ways you can make your space come to life!!! Trust me when I tell you that you won't regret it! I was iffy about the purchase at first because of the price but honestly they are made well and the app makes it that much better.I am a Govee fan for life!!! 💯
