TheraBand Kinesiology Tape, Waterproof Physio Tape for Pain Relief

Tips:-This K TAPE is a synthetic brand which has a better hold and more/different layers integrated into the weave which gives a better support/hold.-Make sure that you do clean your skin prior to application, an alcohol pad will help remove any skin oils to help improve the adhesion of the tape.-If you have sensitive skin (or want to keep the tape in place longer) please look into purchasing skin prep to be used under this tape-after you alcohol swab the skin. It is easily found on amazon by searching skin prep (smith and nephew have best product). Skin prep will put a very thin protective silicon layer between your skin and the tape which protects your skin as well as improving the hold of the tape. (I was able to get an extra day or two out of it with this)-To remove tape put some baby oil on a cotton ball and start to peel the end the tape back then place the cotton ball on the skin and rub as you're pulling the K TAPE away from your skin slowly. This will easily help the tape remove and not damage skin as badly, the oil helps dissolve the bond to your skin.-Theraband has hexagon imprints which work perfectly for you to gauge the amount of stretch you are using when applying this tape. This is important as there are different qualities with different stretches.-There are thousands of videos out there on the application of this tape, typically research the company name and the joint or muscle/tendon you are trying to stabilize and they will pop up.This tape is AMAZING. I have already purchased a second and third time. Love that you can see easily how much you are stretching it, and its adhesion time compared to other brands is far superior! This product is outstanding. It does exactly what it is supposed to do; great adhesion; great support; lasts long, up to 3 or 4 days, with showers; and supports my knee which is in dire need of replacement. Waiting on a knee replacement can be a very painful time. Unfortunately, with a pandemic looming, there is not much choice but to wait. You can however, alleviate some of the pain with the help of outstanding products such as this one. I cannot recommend it enough! My knee is taped every single day. I do long walks regularly as that is the only way to ward off the pain and to keep some flexibility in my knee until it is changed out. This tape is my salvation while waiting for my surgery. I would not be without it. Tired another brand and was very disappointed. Came back to this one and will always order it from now on. Great, great product!

Overall, the tape itself is pretty solid. The stretch was good and it did the trick for what I needed. However, I personally could not wear the tape for long as it made me break out and turn red. I also had a lot of peeling and scaring that happened as a result of using the tape. I only had it on for about 15-30 minutes, which I feel like isn't long at all. It was pretty painful to take off as well, but that may just be because it caused me to have an allergic reaction. I can't really blame the tape for that, as I have really sensitive skin. So if you're in the same position, I would say don't buy. If you just need some quick tape and don't have to work about skin issues, this can do the trick.

Currently 8 months pregnant with twins and it was getting to hot to keep wearing a belly band for my 12 hour shifts at work. So I switched to using this tape and for the most part it's great. Easy to apply, stays on for 12+ hours, helps with the uncomfortableness of carrying 2 humans. Downside, after the 4th day in a row it did agitate my skin a little bit. Took it off and had two small cuts that had scabbed over by the next morning. Still 100% worth it and will be wearing them again this weekend at work

The tape left imprints in my skin that will not go away it's been like this for a month I don't know what kind of adhesive this is bit this is very upsetting I have no idea if it's ever going to come off my skin!!

I like this tape but the one I ordered from here wasn’t wrapped and was obviously used. As soon as I open the package I could it was unspooled and there was a long strip with just backing paper. Amazon let me return it but I had to drive to a drop off location then wait for a refund before I was able to order again. I went ahead and got the continuous version instead so I don’t waste any. They are easy enough to cut and round the corners.The product is as good, if not better, than KT extreme. The thickness is similar and it stays on my foot for 4-6 days if I make sure to use alcohol before and rub it down really well. It’s too strong for me to use anywhere else though. The adhesive irritates my skin after a day or two. I use it on my wrist and knee sometimes but I have to remove it in 48hrs or I get little blisters. The guides are nice too, it keeps me from over or under stretching the tape.

Never thought I'd find something I'd liked as much or better then RockTape, but for the price and the ease of removal after 5 days I find this adhesive cotton tape to be just right for someone with very sensitive skin. I swim daily, shower daily and wear unto 5 days. I do give the area a 2-3 day of no taping before taping up again. Having it pre-cut is very convenient. I use this product often since I have had many spine surgeries, this gives me that little bit of extra support that eases chronic pain in and around the spinal hardware. I also use this on my husband when he pulls a hamstring (or if I suspect he may do so I pre-tape him and presto, no pulled hammie).

My wife has had should pain for a couple years, I had seen people at work using these and thought I would give it a try. Glad we did, we watched a couple videos on how to apply the tape. She has been wearing the tape for a couple days. The pain was gone immediately, she still hasn't gotten full range of motion, but hopeful that will come in time. Her being out of pain was well worth it. Highly recommend, you really got nothing to lose.

Have chronic lower back pain. I love this tape; can feel it working.
