I would buy another one......
This trainer is fantastic. I bought this particular trainer because it is compatible with Garmin and Zwift. It takes a little time to put assemble, but in 30 minutes you'll be riding. The MY Trainer App that is comes with is...well fine. Its a ipad or phone installed app that can change resistance of the trainer while you riding on the fly, and will show watts and cadence in real time....its functional and works well - but smart trainers shine when used with programs like Zwift - and this one is no exception. The tire contact spool is rubberized, so it gets great connection with your rear tire without having to be too tight - its also less noisy then your standard fluid trainer - but there is some noise from the motor applying resistance - so you wont be burning miles while your better half is sleeping in the next room. This particular trainer is ANT+ and Bluetooth enabled - which is good to have - because both worth with Zwift and well, sometimes I pair it with whichever one is recognized first. If you want to wear a chest strap heart monitor while riding (and in Zwift or using your Garmin) then you will need the ANT+ dongle that this trainer comes with so that Zwift can recognize. Just push it into one of your USB ports you should be pairing in short order. Overall a great trainer - looking to get a second for my better half soon.(We aren't good at sharing)

Horrible, I wish I would have paid the extra ...
Horrible, I wish I would have paid the extra 100.00 and purchased from my local bike shop. They have helped me our twice now trying to get this machine to work correctly. It constantly stops working for me during hill climbs I have to constantly get off to unplug and replug and then restart the workout because it reads that I’m not going the exact RPEs. Since I can’t return it on amazon now I’m going to have to sell on Craigslist.

Happy to change rating if I can solve
Solved: bought a flat training tire. Noise went away. This was original review: Mine is as loud as a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Luckily wife is away, so I have time to use it and try to troubleshoot. I have mine connected to my mountain bike. I have looked through all the shopping materials, and I can’t find a phone number to call. This may be just a problem with my knobby tires, no clue. The sound is deafening:90+ db. Any advice on this issue would be appreciated. Happy to change rating if I can solve. This trainer looks like it will be a pain to ship back.will try a different tire...

Very disappointed with the Elite Rampa
Very disappointed with the Elite Rampa. Instructions were confusing I had to watch YouTube videos to put the trainer together. It was a total hassle. It finally sync with Zwift. But after 12 months of having it the power supply connector to the motor became dislodged into the motor, resulting into an expensive pile of garbage. I his product n Ed’s to be avoided at. Do not buy it.

Very nice trainer, just not as accurate as professional-level trainers
Was undecided between this and another well-known wheel-on trainer. Found the Rampa for a deep discount on an online site so went with the Rampa. I did this because it was cheap and because it was found to be okay by several well known bicycist-reviewers. I have enjoyed it very much. It is a little complex to adjust so I would suggest looking on the internet for the review on setting the P1, P2, P3 values. In the end, it is a lot more fun than riding an unsmart trainer. The resistance increases when you climb, decreases on the flats. Are the power numbers dead-on accurate? No. But they are not too far off. I have changed the P values such that it does seem to closely mimic my outdoor experience. I really enjoy riding it and have put 800 miles on it in the last three months. It is holding up well. Also, I do not find it to be loud, as others have suggested. I would purchase it again.

The elestogel is not as good as to one would hope as it is wears ...
Used this trainer for roughly a year. Realized that all you need is a fluid trainer. As far as the trainer goes very solid. The elestogel is not as good as to one would hope as it is wears out and need constant adjustments. I used it with zwift and it worked fine. Without cycling app like zwift it dont work as god as there is no resistance. My overall opinion on this: Its ok for recreational riders and for the zwift lovers.

A great purchase
I love this trainer. When I first got it in January, there were a few issues with Zwift that was corrected eventually. But it worked with TrainerRoad the entire time. The top resistance it can provide is 800 watts. For some people it may not be enough. But for me it is. Hours and hours of painful pleasure.

Frustrating and disappointing
This is been the most disappointing bicycle related purchase in years. It won't reliably connect or vary power to TrainerRoad, Zwift or even it's own myETraining app. I sure wish I could write something better but for every hour I've spent riding have spent at least 20 minutes troubleshooting this.
