Proper sensors
First of all, the PM2.5 and CO2 sensors are proper accurate sensors, in cheaper alternatives they often are not (particularly the CO2 sensor, it's a fairly expensive part). The PM sensors seems to be a bit insensitive at the very low end of the range, in very clean air it gets zero values for all PM readings (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, >0.3um, >0.5um, etc). Another dedicated PM sensor I have always picks up at least a little >0.3um and >0.5um, I think it's physically very unrealistic to have these at absolute zero, outside cpu chip fabs etc. After the PM2.5 gets up to 5 on my other sensor, all the readings start coming up realistically, and they more or less match by a PM2.5 of 20 or so. This is OK because a PM2.5 < 20 is so low it doesn't really matter, this product reads PM properly well before it starts to matter. The CO2 sensor readings make sense, and agree with another sensor I have, but this one seems more responsive (adjust faster to changing conditions). The temp and humidity sensors seem fine. I don't have the experience/knowledge to evaluate the HCHO and TVOC sensors, but they give non-zero readings in the "green zone", so they seem to be working. There are 5 or so views you can switch between with the button on top, but there's no configurability. You can't switch from degrees F to degrees C, you can't make CO2 the big number instead of PM2.5, etc. I have a few other small devices with just 2 buttons and a configuration menu ... so it's not particularly intuitive, but it's possible, and just a bit disappointing that this device doesn't have something like that.Overall, I haven't seen anything better than this in this price range, this is really a good option for the price.

Accuracy is struggling. And I'm missing android app
I bought qingping air quality monitor instead of this and it's WAY more powerful. It has mobile app too. And tracks statistics for all the time for all sensors, so you can always see what was the air quality yesterday or a week ago. Though, I don't know which one is more accurate, qingping and this lonicera always show different values for co2, tvoc, pm2.5. there's some correlation, but readings values are different. No idea who's right and who's wrong. Also, lonicera co2 sensor feels more responsive, it reacts much quicker to open window and breathing, almost immediately. Co2 sensor feels very good. I'm not an expert in sensors, I'm just feeling it's good. When I'm breathing out on it - it shows a lot of CO2. If I put it onto a fresh air - it shows little CO2. This is exactly what I expect it to do.

Impressed! Genuine monitor.
I didnt expect much but I bought it for the quality of the sensors, especially the TSI particle sensor. Aside from TSI (a quality American company) the sensors are from known quality companies. The values are very realistic, comparable, and particles fluctuate every few seconds and in a manner as would be expected. The unit appears to be polycarbonate, anyways very sturdy, with a nice weight and the perfect size and stance. The only difference between professional particle detectors I can see is there isnt an mechanical airflow. But that would need to be calibrated anyways and would shorten battery life. I cant get over the relatively inexpensive price for this nice device. To test if the particle sensor is working... light a candle then blow it out. You will see the different particle size bins skyrocket due to soot particles. To test TVOC, do a quick spray of lysol. TVOC will skyrocket, as will the particles (due to aerosols). Formaldehyde skyrockets too, but this could be interference from the TVOC signal. To see I will need to try something with high TVOC that doesnt contain alcohol.

Accurate and fast updating
I wasn't too sure about the accuracy of this unit when I bought it, but I wanted something that was somewhat portable to test different areas of my house. Well, I've had this thing for about 4 months, using it constantly. Recently I just got 3 individual AirThings View Plus as a more permanent solution within my house and I was surprised to see that the PM2.5, PM1, CO2, and VOC numbers were basically spot on between this unit and the AirThings.Compared to the AirThings View Plus, this unit will provide you formaldehyde numbers as well as a breakdown on the different PM particles sizes like .3um, .5um, 1um, 2.5um, 5um, and 10um. The AirThings only shows you PM1 and PM 2.5.The AirThings View Plus will show you radon levels and air pressure levels which this unit does not, as well as wifi capability for offline historical data storing and viewing. This really is the biggest selling point of the AirNow over the Lonicera, in my opinion. The Lonicera only has a very short 1 hour on screen historical reporting. After that, it's gone forever. The AirNow View Plus though is over twice the price of the Lonicera though! It's not cheap, but for long term and consistent air quality monitoring and tracking, I really think the AirNow is worth it. Their native app and desktop portals really make viewing your air quality data simple and fast. Additionally, you'll be alerted on your phone when different air quality measurements reach specific levels.I'm still happy with the Lonicera for the price and I'll keep using it as a portable tool for monitoring air quality, like in our travel trailer where CO2 levels can become dangerously high very quickly when you have a family inside and the windows shut.

inacurate temp and pm2.5
The temp and humidity are off compared to 3 other sources in my house. the particle sensor doesnt seem to pick up low readings. it either reads 0 or skyrocketing when I induce a significant amount of dust in the air. the co2 seemed to respond well the other day but today its 1000 less in same room under same conditions. the voc and hcho sensor seem fine. very fast response to cleaning product fumes.
