I bought this to weigh my pet rabbit that seemed to be losing weight. The tray was a little small for her so I found a larger container and just pressed the TARE button to reset the scale to zero. I tested it out with some various unopened food items and it seemed to be accurate to .01-.005kg (0.02lb). This may be an issue for a smaller animal like a lizard or rat but for a 2kg/4.4lb bunny it was fine. Some other reviews mentioned the scale being too sensitive or moving around too much to get a good reading. I found it fluctuated between 1.88-1.90kg, pretty easy to average it out to 1.89kg. I used kg because its what my vet uses but you can easily toggle between grams and pounds

This scale works great for weighing newborn puppies. It measures in grams for when they are extra small or pounds when they get larger. It has a nice big tray to set them on. Definitely worth the money.

My cat has FIP and per vet, he must be weighed weekly to know if medication dosage must be adjusted. The accuracy is imperative. The medication can not work If dosage is not changed due to weight change. My cat who is sick and in discomfort,will not stand on this very small scale, long enough for the number to stay and give me a value. Big waste! I have to literally hold his legs close together to get his body all on there. Would be great for mice and a small rabbit. When searching on amazon, i typed in cat scale and it generated this product. It is just a big mess for my needs. Returning.

I received the scale on the day it was due but what I am disappointed about is that I specifically picked this scale because it said it was going to deliver between 7am - 11am! I really needed the scale early and I paid a bit more for it to be here when it said. I wasn’t prepared for how nice the scale is. The quality is very nice! Very well made! It works like a dream as well. It was worth every penny!

This is definitely worth the money. Gives an accurate read on the smallest kittens allowing us to ensure they are gaining weight and are healthy. The rim on the weighing table helps keep them in place for the reading.

The media could not be loaded. really easy to assemble and now i can easily and comfortably weigh my birds from home! (ignore my tiel’s posture, he’s disabled) but besides that, the video below shows how simple it is :)
