Excellent Drone for Pros or Amateurs
I’ve flown 3 different DJI drones and I’ll give you a bit of comparison between them.First, I purchased this Air 2S for real estate and automotive photography/videography and it’s been great. I frequently have to fly in windy conditions (30-40 mph) and even up to 400 feet it’s been rock solid. It offers active track, automatic shots for video, bracketed exposures, and even panoramic pictures which are awesome. Propeller swapping is easy too unlike the Mini 3 Pro.A couple of negatives- it can’t be charged directly by plugging in like the other 2 I’ve flown (Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3 Classic)- the camera can’t shoot vertical portrait (like mini 3 pro)- battery life is subpar if you have just 1 battery…so definitely get 2.- AEB can only be .7 stops apart…unlike the 2 EV stops apart like mini 3 pro - I don’t understand that.I also recommend the better RC remote instead of phone operated one if you fly frequently and for a long duration because it can get too heavy holding the phone controller. The Mini 3 Pro is great if you want vertical shooting, don’t need to fly in windy conditions (the drone does fine but the gimbal gets jostled with gusty winds), don’t want to have to register your drone.Get the Mavic 3 classic for longer battery life, rock solid stability in high winds and altitudes, the upgraded camera and “cruise control” functionIn conclusion / if you get the Air 2S, I definitely recommend a fly more combo like this for the extra battery, carrying case, extra propellers, but go for the nicer RC remote.

Unbelievable Drone
I haven't had a "lot" of experience with drones .. just a few hours with a cheap <$100 unit that was fun until it wound up in a lake. But, from that experience I knew I wanted to fly a "serious" drone and learn about aerial photography! The Air 2s is amazing. While there is a lot to pay attention to, it is easy to fly and has safety features that keep novices like me out of trouble (knock on wood). I insured it so I could be relaxed about flying a $1k drone. FYI, State Farm has a great insurance option for a drone. Add it to you personal items policy and it'll cost $16/year.I whole heartedly recommend this DJI Air 2s drone!

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. I plan to update after using this a bit but for now I wanted to address the packaging.I’m convinced this product was either never used or just taken out of the package and put back in. Everything came sealed up and like new. I was expecting it to take at least 2 business days but it showed up early the next day after I ordered it. The assembly was simple enough though I don’t see much documentation on how to get started without immediately going online. The docs it does have include the usual safety stuff and talking about the parts. The drone itself isn’t very big or heavy even with the battery installed and folds up nicely. The quality is very light plastic but doesn’t feel cheaply made. I’ve opted to watch a beginner video on YouTube by Jeven Dovey to figure out how to safely operate it as this is my first drone. I won’t be doing big flights until I get my part 107 cert as I don’t want to incur the wrath of the FAA.Same day update after usage:Thanks to the above mentioned video, I was able to get up and going pretty quickly. The app is easy to link up and has some nice tutorials to get you going. The app also has quick buttons for letting you record and take pictures. I wasn’t aware that the drone comes with in-house memory for saving videos. Today was an extremely windy day with stuff on my back deck like pots flying around a bit. This drone showed very little signs of this as it hovered right in front of me. Lift off and landing can both be handled by the app. The sensors can get a little annoying and constantly make me believe that I’m about to crash but I didn’t look to see if I could turn down the sensitivity or not. The drone is on the loud side so I was a bit worried that it would disturb my neighbors. The videos seem to have no sound which makes sense since I think all you would hear is the buzzing from the drone. The video quality was amazing, I didn’t do any calibrations and chose to not use any of the filters and it still looked great.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM SafeFly CR
replace this one and SafeFly CR still CHARGED ME A $300 RESTOCKING FEE!!!! This is extremely unprofessional and an unfair way to treat a customer. Especially when I purchased a drone from them and it was faulty. Batteries only lasted like 10 minutes at the max. The drone flew up to a branch 20 feet above I was able to catch the drone since it was above me only two propellers got damaged. I replaced the propeller’s and and flew a few more times without any issues and recorded videos with it. I decided to return it to SafeFly for a refund because of the faulty batteries and they lied about the drone being damaged after I told them that it hit a branch 20 feet above they lied and said that the camera was damaged which was a total lie since I recorded a lot of videos after it hit the branch the just wanted to RIP me off for $300. Be WARE Please don’t buy any drones from this seller if you do and you return it for any reason they will find a way to RIP you off for your money from $300-$500I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM SafeFly CR!!

I was amazed when I opened the box.
The media could not be loaded. I read the good, bad, & mediocre reviews and had a feeling I’d get a drone the was either A) been crashed and or missing parts on pieces. B) locked to previous owners account. or C) included bad batteries. Well after super fast shipping received it and was nervous to open the box because I have bad luck normally.Open the box and the only was I could tell it wasn’t brand new was the refurb sticker on the box, other than that everything was in factory packing and wrap and included all stickers and materials. Definitely exceeded my expectations all batteries are good and drone flies like a champ.Take a chance and worst comes to worse you can always exchange/ return. I’m definitely going to be a returning customer from here on out!
