Kensington Publishing Corporation The Spanish Daughter: A Gripping Historical Novel Perfect for Book Clubs

A very interesting read that you can't put down.
The story takes place in Ecuador and the main character Puri wants to find out who is trying to kill her.

Book pages were stained
A lot of pages in this book were stained. It was still readable but disappointing. The story itself was okay, convoluted and messy but ultimately tied up well. If you enjoy mystery type books, this is a decent choice. A bit slow moving but satisfying at the end.

A Good Read
I read this book for book club and I really enjoyed it. There were enough twists in the plot to keep it interesting and not too confusing. I would recommend this book.

Rather unusual story - not sure I believed the persona of the Spanish Daughter.
Found it hard to believe the impersonation was not discovered sooner. Enjoyable story, but not really believable!
