has anyone tried vegan butter?
Why does it says 0 carbs on the front of the package and 18grams on the back?
Single girl here….are there instructions for just making one or two biscuits? I don’t want to make the whole pack at one time for just me. Thanks.
well what exactly kind of flour is this?

5-STAR KETO-FRIENDLY BISCUITS

Absolutely excellent keto-friendly biscuit. Follow the directions closely and you will have 7 large wonderful biscuits. The recipe claims 10-12, but it's less if you make them normal size. Also, freezing the butter and using a box grater is a great suggestion. Pro tip: consider adding cheese or chives to add some additional flavors.

Buttery Flaky Bottoms

Amazing! I cut up the butter in tiny pieces and mixed in it in with the other ingredients. I made drop biscuits instead of rolling them out. They turned out great! Fluffy with crispy flaky buttery bottoms. The consistency was perfect. You could not tell they were gluten free. They weren't gummy like the other brands I've tried. I made sausage gravy to go over them but the biscuits were so good I ate the biscuits plain. I thought they were worth the extra cost since they were so good and it's not something I make all the time.

I'll be buying again

I found Scotty's pancakes to dry to eat. These biscuits are too dry to eat as is. First I used the biscuit dough to wrap some hot dogs. The baked biscuit bread was too dry and understandably flavorless so I peeled the biscuit bread off and used them like I would a biscuit, and had them in cream of chicken soup. That was rather good. I'll be buying again and just keep in mind they have to go into a gravy or stew for me to be able to compensate for the dry texture. There are artificial wheat flavorings, but the ones I've tried never live up to the label. I just wanted to put that out there in case someone wants to try and add that and see if it's helpful.

Tasty Low-Carb Option, but Difficult to Work With 🍪

I’m always on the hunt for low-carb snacks, and Scotty’s Everyday Keto Biscuit Mix caught my attention. While the flavor is pretty good, the texture and consistency leave a bit to be desired.Pros:Low Carb: Perfect for staying on track with a keto lifestyle while enjoying a biscuit-like treat.Good Taste: The flavor is satisfying and better than many other low-carb mixes I’ve tried.Cons:Challenging Texture: The mix doesn’t hold together well, and I often end up with a sticky mess that’s hard to shape and bake properly.Messy Preparation: Despite following the instructions, it’s tough to get a consistent result without a lot of extra effort.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a tasty, low-carb biscuit option and don’t mind some extra prep time, this mix might be worth trying. However, the consistency issues make it less convenient than I’d hoped. I’d recommend it more for those who don’t mind experimenting to get the perfect bake.

delicious!!! dough isn't the easiest to work with but worth the effort - i added 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese and yum!package really makes 7-8 biscuits-these freeze well too.

Biscuits are back on the menu!

And they are delicious! Received the mix yesterday and made them yesterday. But it's not like I was eagerly anticipating them or anything... I've been in ketosis for 5 1/2 years now and in all that time haven't had a biscuit. I had 2 yesterday with supper and yeah, they were good. My wife isn't in ketosis and she tried one and pronounced it good. This morning I split 2 and fried them in butter to warm them to have them with my eggs. Again, delicious. One of those 2 got the Choc Zero fruit spread treatment. Still delicious! So yes, biscuits are back on the menu. There are some really amazing Keto foods available now and this is one of them.FWIW, not having the suggested 2" biscuit cutter I used a big wheel pizza cutter and just cut the rectangular dough mass into squares. It seems to have worked fine. I had no complaints.

2 carbs per biscuit? I doubt it.

First of all... I'm on a crash diet to lose some weight before surgery next month. I've been eating almost zero net carbs. For the past two weeks I've eaten nothing but summer sausage, celery, tilapia, scallops, and an occasional egg. My calorie count each day has been between 250 and 500, and I've been losing 0.5 pounds to 1.4 pounds every day. In 14 days I've lost 13.8 pounds.I was getting bored with what I was eating, so I searched for "keto" on Amazon. These looked good, and with 2 grams of carbs per biscuit, I figured I could eat two and not have a negative impact on my diet. I added them to my cart, and I also bought some shiritaki noodles, which are supposed to have 0 grams of net carbs. On Saturday night I made the noodles, which were delicious with a garlic cream and scallop sauce. The next day when I weighed myself I was expect not quite as much weight loss, simply due to the weight of the noodles in my belly. But I still lost 0.6 pounds that day.The next morning I made these biscuits. I'll get to the quality in just a minute, but other than the two biscuits I ate very little that day. These biscuits are supposed to be 90 calories and 2 grams of carbs each. I had nothing else to eat until that evening when I had one tilapia filet (110 calories 0 carbs). and a stick of celery (5.6 calories and 0.6 carbs). So in total, if the nutrition information on the package of biscuits is correct, I had consumed about 295 calories yesterday, and <5 grams of carbs...But this morning, when I weighed myself, I had GAINED 0.3 pounds! I haven't lost less than 0.5 in over two weeks, but I suddenly GAINED 0.3 in one day. On a starvation diet! The only thing I can think of that could have caused this is the biscuits. Carbs combine with water to form glycogen, which is the "water weight" people lose when they first start dieting. It's my opinion, based on my experience, that these biscuits contain more carbs than stated on the packaging, which caused my to fall out of ketosis and gain weight.I put the rest of the biscuits in the freezer. I'll eat two more in about a week and see what happens. If I gain weight again, the rest are going in the trash. I'll update this review then.In regards to the flavor, they were just OK. They did not rise at all, so the cooked biscuits were very flat and dense. If they are truly Keto biscuits, then I would eat them just for variety. But I question whether they are truly Keto, and if I'm going to eat a non-Keto biscuit, I want it to be a good one.
