The scent is amazing, honestly one of the best things about this product, and that’s coming from someone who usually avoids coconut scents. At first, I was excited to try it, but on my curly hair it leaves a very dry feeling, which was disappointing. My boyfriend has wavy hair, so he gave it a shot too. For him it’s been just “okay", not terrible, but not great either. After a few months of use, his hair isn’t softer or shinier, so I can’t really say it hydrates. Sorry...just being honest, hope this helps someone.
