Nice, but a little stiff
I really liked the color choices and the quantity I got. For the most part they are great covers. But they are a bit harder to crimp closed than others I've gotten. I need to really squeeze them to get them to close. That being said, since they are a stiffer metal, they will definitely stay put. I love Pandahall products. Very good quality.

SHAKE in small bottle to separate!!
I bought these in the 3mm size which I really like for some bracelets. They are a little small to blend in nicely with some beads, so I'm now ordering the 4mm size too. (I already had some 5mm covers.) I use them to cover the knots on stretchy bracelets. I pull my knot very tight, add a bit of E6000 glue, and then put the cover right over the knot and the wet glue. Ta da! A great solution when I can't pull the glue and the knot to the inside of a bead. These crimp covers do NOT come in a white plastic container. They come mixed together in a small ziplock type bag, which I don't mind. Whether they come in a bag or container, they WILL hook together! It's just what happens. To separate 2 of them, throw them in a small container with lid (empty pill bottle, perhaps) and SHAKE! They will usually come apart right away. Sometimes they separate when I first throw them in. Hope that is helpful! Happy beading, everyone!

Repeat customer, super fast delivery however…
At least 50% of the crimp beads are stuck together But if you put them in your hand and shake them up while they seem like they come apart pretty well. They deliver really quickly and they really fair price. There is a little too much “junk” mixed in with the crimp beads. May be enough weight to replace 10 of them each time but the price is good so I’m willing to continue to order

Quality product. Buy in separate packs from now on but this was an excellent sampler.

Hack to separate locked together crimp beads...
The media could not be loaded. Those of you who are having a hard time unlocking the crimp covers, you can put a few of them in a small box, vigorously shake it and they’ll come apart. (See video) I would have had to throw away 2/3 of these if I didn’t do this as none of my tools worked to get them apart. This was super easy and all I had to throw away was two that still wouldn’t separate, and 3 that came damaged, for a total of 5 that were unusable. After separating them into bead containers, you’ll see how many I was able to keep and the quality of them. It turned out to be a very good deal and I’m excited to use these as it’s saving me some cash by not buying them from the craft store.

mostly work with very small crimp tubes and beads
I have been making a lot of jewelry lately and I am always a bit embarrassed about what the sections near the clasps look like. I do use crimps fairly regularly when I am using Accuflex or Softflex beading wire, but they can be pretty ugly after crimping. I bought these to see if I could improve the appearance of my necklaces around the clasp.I like that this lot has a variety of different finishes. I do like to use different metals, with a special focus on copper, and there are both bright copper and antique copper finishes here, as well as a gold tone, a silver tone, and antique gold finish. If you don't want to buy five or six different items, this is a good place to start.I am guessing these are plated steel (and not plain "iron" as described). They are definitely attracted to magnets. They are pretty easy to bend around crimps; I use some flatnose pliers to close the gap. Some do come stuck together (you can kind of see this in the official product image -- if you imagine two "C" shapes with one leg of each fitting into the gap of the other, if that makes sense). It is possible to get these apart but it takes a little bending and isn't super easy. I suggest doing this BEFORE you need to use them, because it's not fun to stop what you're doing and try to get them apart. There are still a fair number of usable ones here. One more thing to watch out for, but these are maybe 1-2 mm high, at most, so you can only use them with very small, narrow crimps, probably crimp beads rather than the tubes (the tubes can be a bit too long, especially the larger sizes). Like these would probably work with Beadalon size 0 and 1 crimps, but not much larger.Overall, I'm not sorry I bought these because they were inexpensive and I am getting some use out of them. But just be aware of the limitations going in and you'll be fine.

I ordered a package of 100 and I thought the quantity looked less than that
I counted the covers when separating the colors. There were less than 80 even counting the ones I couldn't separate The package had a sticker on it that said count was 80, it was covered by another sticker that stated 100 count. So value stated vs value received was not there.Buyer beware.

Took me couple hours to separate colors.
Don’t understand why company couldn’t separate out the colors. Overall product looks satisfactory besides taking a couple of hours to separate the colours
