G9 LED bulbs
These are perfect, I don't like soft white bulbs so I was very happy to find these.

I'm impressed
I have lately become somewhat skeptical for some of the inexpensive products that they are sold in Amazon. Usually you get what you pay for. However this item impressed me.

Flicker free? Sadly not. Read if you have fast vision.
I was skeptical when I decided to replace the 4 halogen lamps in my bathroom fixture with LED to gain some energy savings. LED's have in the past just never come close. But I decided "to give them a try" again.Well, I replaced ONE bulb and turned on the light. Wow! Impressive! It was genuinely hard to tell the difference in both color and light output next to the other 3 lamps.LED's have come a long way since just a few years ago. I then replaced all 4 and am generally pleased with the result. Except.....Something was "off".... The bathroom felt wrong somehow. Then I moved my hand and realized that the bulbs, like so many LED's , strobe. I don't know if that is by design to help the LED's run cooler, or a cost saving feature, but many people can see or perceive this strobing and it's unpleasant. It may also give some a headache after longer exposure. I do have other LED lights that do NOT strobe, or if they do, it's well beyond the range of vision. So I know it can be done. But these are also much larger bulbs with room for the electronics. So in a nutshell: Light output? - Great! LED's have gotten really good. However, if you are sensitive to strobing (flicker), be aware that these DO strobe. Just wave your hand around and you'll think you are looking through a film shutter.I will be trying several others, but if all of them strobe, I'll go back to halogens. When you stand in front of the bathroom mirror with the fixture right above you, this is very annoying.I'd say these are OK in other applications where you are not close to them.

Warm Light With No Flickering...a Bit Bigger Than Some G9 Halogens
After moving into my current place three years ago, I learned that there are so many different-size light bulbs out there for consumers. My bathroom fixture takes four G9 bulbs. Halogen ones were installed; they were fine but got very hot and were not terribly energy efficient (40W). I considered switching them out for LED bulbs back in 2014, but decided against it since the G9 LED bulbs of the time were (a) too "white" (b) flickered, and (c) had an annoying low hum/buzz.After two of my halogen ones recently burned out, I thought I would try LED bulbs again, mostly for the cost-savings. I am pleased to report that these JCase G9 bulbs have a good warm white/yellow light (a bit "whiter" than the halogens, but not by too much), turn on instantly, do not hum/buzz, and do not flicker. They're a bit brighter than my halogens, but I think is mostly because the halogens were getting old. While the LEDs do heat up when on, they don't heat up as much as the halogens did (and use 1/8th of the electricity). The only downside I'd note is that this are almost double the length of my previous halogen bulbs...this didn't bother me since my glass pendant covers still cover the bulb, but this could problematic for some. All in all, I look forward to saving a bit on my electric bill, and don't see any need to go back to the halogens now.

Good, except the one that failed
One failed after ~13 months, which was unfortunately 1 month after the warranty expired. It would work for a bit, then not work for a bit, but mostly just barely flickered. Overall, I like them otherwise, but now I’m wondering how long the other 5 will last.
