Viper Pitbull 90% Tungsten Soft Tip Dart Set, 18 Grams

I lost my more expensive Viper darts. These are nice for the price. I like the knurling, I prefer a firm grip. The flights spin, so far they seem sturdy. I pulled one off by mistake and it went right back on and still worked. I would probably give it 4.5 stars if I could but I still like them. It comes with a nice case, extra flights and dart tips (soft). I would love to say they are accurate, and I’m sure they are but I am not very good at darts. I can still have fun and enjoy it though.

I have owned a couple of Viper tungsten soft tip darts in the past but just not these pitbull models. They are very nice that compare to the higher end darts out there, which I can tell you that I once owned black widow soft tip darts to throw these ringed pitbull to think that they handle the same as the black widow darts that I used to own. I saw these pitbull ringed darts at a nice low price when I decided to get nice darts and pulled the trigger because I have taken an interest on throwing darts again. I chose the 18 gram weight because I like that weight for darts and the small tungsten barrels will help on the grouping for those low ton 20 scoring on games, which comes if you are accurate on your throwing.

Since i actually began to hit the board, I purchased these to play a better game of darts. What I didn't realize is the flights spin. This threw my game off for the first couple of games, but I adjusted fire. These are made with quality materials, comes with a storage case, perfectly balanced and weighted. I guard these closely.

Very sturdy and hold up well

I like tese darts so much, I bought a 2nd set. The spinning shafts turn freely, and are durable, as other spinning shafts I have purchased have bent or broken after light use. The weight feels good, and the grip is excellent. I di not like the flights, so I put Red Dragon flights on both sets. They also clean easily with a small brush (to get grime out of the grooves in the grip). I find these easy to control, though the barrel grip may have a smaller diameter than some may prefer. But a dart is a barrel and a flight shaft, as everyone uses their own tips and flights anyway. I will say that the case is very nice, and has secure storage for extra flights and tips. I can fit both sets in a single case if needed, though I have only been using these at home with my Granboard 3s (bets board ever!) I ahve many sets of darts, but these are currently my favorite.

These are overall a nice darts as far as the barrel, however the shaft and the flights are trash. The shafts bent within a few throws and the flights, well done before the game was over. I wanted to love these but they are much shorter and thinner than I expected and care for. although I purchased the 18 g they just don’t feel very solid . I seem to have a lot of bounce outs with them yet I go back to my $10 Turnouts and they tend to be more accurate and feel more solid as if I have a better weight overall. If you like a very thin short dart that demands more power behind your throw, then you should try them. I will warn you though, don’t expect to hear from Viper if you need support. They have not responded back yet and I messaged them over 10 days ago. Not ideal customer service. For the price we paid for 2 sets and accessories, I would have hoped for more than the lack of quality products and nonexistent customer support.

Great value, good darts, excellent shafts. Case is nice to have, but it could be better.

El estuche es de plástico en lugar de ser de aluminio tal como reza en la descripción. Puede parecer una tontería pero, yo he pagado por uno de aluminio. Por eso le resto dos estrellas. A mi me ha fastidiado mucho este detalle. Los dardos son de muy buena calidad y, una vez acostumbrado a ellos, en mi caso, han pasado a ser mi juego de dardos titular, desplazando a los Empire Darts Men in Black a la reserva.

The darts were well balanced. Darts are of very good quality. Very good value for money. Darts came with a nice pouch.
