On the plus side there are some nice step by steps here of basic shapes and a few more complex projects at the end, but the books is not at a level above a book for kids at all. In fact, a kids book probably has more explanation of things like shading that really make the difference in 3-D drawings. This book has no discussions about light and shadow (no discussion about anything!) and that was disappointing. If your kiddo is looking for another 3D workbook, this fits the bill. If you are over 10---look elsewhere.
