I bought several of these this past holiday season for my sons and all the single men on my husband's side of the family. They are proud Irish Americans. This was the biggest hit of any present. It's beautifully hand-crafted and sturdy. I'm so glad I purchased one for my husband. Ours is on a decorative hook and looks beautiful hung up.

My mother-in-law had this bottle opener & my husband really liked it. I got it for him for father's day. It is a solid piece and it is very nice. Functionally it isn't the best but if you want it for a decorative conversation piece used occasionally this is perfect. My husband really likes it.

It was a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The opener is a good sturdy weight, so there's no worries about it bending if a bottle is hard to open. It's much better looking than I expected. Nice packaging, as well.
