Ikea Kullen Chest of 6 Drawers, 140x72 cm (55 1/8x28 3/8 ") (Black-Brown)

I've used IKEA furniture when I lived abroad so I trust them. Sure this one on Amazon is more expensive than IKEA's but you should look at it as extra delivery fees. I had mine ordered all the way to Kerala. I've been using this chest of drawers instead of a wardrobe and it fits all my clothes with two drawers to spare for other stuff. Hint: I used the Marie Kondo method to fold my clothes. It saves a lot of space and it's easy to pick out my clothes.I ordered two sets. The first time it took me 6 hours to put one together and second time around it took me 3 hours. I mostly did it myself so it would be faster with help. You need a hammer and a screwdriver (slotted and philips head). I recommend taking your time to assemble it. Look at the instructions carefully and make sure it matches.I like that it's white, it lightens up the room and it visually make the room feel like it has more space, not cluttered. Also IKEA's furniture is easily customisable (look up IKEA hacks) if you ever want to change it up later.Mine was ordered with Delhivery and they delivered the drawers in two parts. One set of drawers has two boxes so do take note. It arrived in two layers of carboards boxes for protection and the product was in perfect condition.

Ikea Kullen for Indian homes is a yes and a no.It is costlier than Ikea on Amazon, that you know by now. Didn't mind giving extra as I really liked and needed it.Cons:1. The back is of really thin material.2. There is a tiny space still open for dust to get in every drawer. It can seen from above.3. Not every city has UC trained professionals for assembling. It took 3 hours for us to get it assembled and UC representative may charge more if the service is not included in the city.4. Drawers don't open 100%. Probably like 60%, which is also important else dresser will topple.5. No legs. Cleaning can be a hassle.6. Not as sturdy to keep heavy stuff. But it is not that bad.7. No soft closures or handles in drawersIf you can do with these things, go for it. And yes you can do away with these things. Specially if you like the look. It has good finish and packaging is just wonderful.One thing I really liked is the top space on dresser. It really helps in keeping things decorative or just extra stuff.If you have kids, suggest fixing it in wall. They do provide all material for that too.All in all, I like it with all its cons.

I saw this at my friends house and he was consistently cribbing about the fact that the drawer channels are made of plastic. They are not the metal channels. We laughed so hard seeing that they were actually made of plastic.
