Hello everyone...here is my first impression of the Sofn'Free Flaxseed Oil Curl Defining Cream. I like the consistency. I thought it was going to be like a lotion, but it is thicker...almost like body butter. It's white in appearance but left no white residue or flakes in my nephews hair. I didn't notice a smell. My nephew has curls that get frizzy if not controlled, and this flaxseed curl cream took away a lot of the frizz, but didn't define the curls to my satisfaction. However, we may not have added the amount of product that he needed. I do need a little more experience, especially on my own 4b coils, to fully review the product. I plan to use this on my own hair next and can update my review once my wash and go routine includes this flaxseed oil curl defining cream.

I really like how this flaxseed oil works on my hair.I use a little bit on the ends of my hair to keep the frizzies away.The tube is a good size and should last for quite a while since it only takes a little. If you use too much it will make your hair greasy feeling and looking.I put it on after showering, before I put the towel on my hair and that seems to leave a perfect amount on the hair itself.I do notice a bit of definition in my curls and I get complements on them all the time.The price for what you get is very reasonable.I recommend.

A soft moisturizing cream that will lightly hold your curls without weighing them down. It works better if you apply after shower while your hair is wet. It works even better if you comb your hair in the shower and NOT comb when you get out of shower. Towel blot then apply cream. This tip is for the frizzy curly girls only. However this cream could be enjoyed by other hair types as well. I just know from my personal experience (and being hair stylist) some de-frizz techniques that will help keep hair looking smooth all day. I also love the ingredients and added health benefits.

I have hair that's somewhere between 2C and 3A, though I think 3A is the natural state and I am on a constant lookout for products that help my hair hold actual curls and stay soft.It might just be heat and sweat, but after using this on my hair, most of my curls have fallen out, rather than staying put, though my hair does seem softer than usual. I do think I'm not quite the right hair type for this product, so I'm not too upset with it. I think it will find a place in my routine to nourish my hair, just not on a regular basis.

We have 3 different hair textures in our home and this does define the curls nicely. It is kind of watery so I wasn’t sure how well it would work, I used a wide tooth comb and scrunched a good amount into the kinky and curly hair and let it air dry. I also used a small amount of the curl gel from this brand for the mixed hair, and the curls were definitely popping. It also smells very good.
