Tick and flea repellent
It really works! Never used one before. I found 2 dead ticks laying on the floor at first. No ticks or fleas afterwards!! Great product. My dogs will not be without it!!

Excellent product, BUT...
This is an excleent product, but it is not a miracle worker. In other words, you need to use the stuff properly. (1) this product is water resistant...not soap resistant. So if you use this stuff then go and use some of that heavily perfumes soapy shampoo that msot people use..then you are washign it right off. (2) if you chose to bathe your dog..bathe him/her first then wait 2-3 days THEN apply the product so that it will be distrubited properly. (3) Remember that if you have a heavy flea problem that you need to treat the pet and the environment. You can't jsut put it on the dog and not get rid of the fleas in your house, car, yard, etc.. Yeah it will kill the fleas on him/her, but they will get reinfested with fleas everytime they go back into the flea filled environment. This is the only product that I use for my dog. Of you purchase ANYTHING over the counter (biospot, hartz ::shudders::, etc) then you are wasting your money. Flea dips work, but they only kill the fleas that are on the dog when you bathe him/her. Frontline PLUS is great becasue it keeps killing for up to a month. Also, Frontline Plus has a better range of killing fleas than plain ole' Frontline. The "PLUS" means that it kills larvae and eggs and so much more than adult fleas. IF USED CORRECTLY and ROUTINELY this is an EXCELLENT product!!! I highly recommend it. This product also kills ticks.

Trusted protection, but effectiveness can vary by region
This is a well-known and trusted flea & tick treatment thatโs easy to use and works as part of a monthly routine. Each application provides about 30 days of protection, and the formula is designed to kill adult fleas, eggs, larvae, ticks, and even chewing lice. Application is simpleโjust apply it to the back of your dogโs neck, and it spreads through the oils in the skin for full-body protection. Itโs also waterproof after drying, which is helpful for active dogs. In terms of performance, it works well for many dogs and can kill adult fleas within about 12 hours and ticks within 48 hours, helping break the flea life cycle. On the downside, effectiveness can vary depending on your areaโsome users report itโs not as strong as it used to be, especially in high-flea regions. It can also take a full day or so to start working, and youโll need to stay consistent with monthly use.

Kills Fleas and Ticks Fast
I use Frontline on my dog year-round because of the weather where I live. Any time I've found ticks on him, they were dead or dying. I'm allergic to fleas and it seems like I'm a magnet for flea bites, but fleas die pretty fast if they've touched my dog. I do get bit sometimes by fleas that hitch a ride into the house on my dog and then they bite me, but I can tell they are all dead within less than an hour (because my whole life, I've been a flea buffet and if they're alive anywhere near me, they'll bite me repeatedly for hours or days). My dog doesn't seem to like it when I put this on him, so I suspect it irritates his skin a little. I'm not sure how much truth there is to it, but I've read about cheaper products not being well regulated as to how much active ingredient gets put into each tube. Overdoses of the active ingredient have killed dogs and cats from these cheaper, lower-quality products. Although I really wish Frontline wasn't so expensive, I'm not willing to risk my dog's life to save the money. I stick with this brand because they do seem to regulate the ingredients well.

Bad batch
Didn't work. I have bought front line for years for my dogs and it's always done me good in the past. This batch didn't. This time when I applied it, it didnt do anything and i ended up with the worst fleas I've ever had. I decided to wait a few days, I know in some cases it takes time for the medication to work. After a few days I couldn't take it anymore, the fleas were out of control. Had to pull the combination of dawn dish soap and coconut oil out to get rid of them. Normally you would buy this stuff as a deterrent or treatment but I felt like it attracted them. Now I'm wondering if I should hope that I got a bad box or maybe it's time to switch to a different flea deterrent..

Good Price
Easy to put on my 2 dogs. It only takes about a minute to apply. They don't seem to scratch as much now.
