You can find all of the primary source documents contained in this minimalist text (and many more) for free online. This text contains a handful of documents and perhaps a half dozen low-resolution images of John Brown, but there are significantly more (and better documented) primary sources available online at websites such as that maintained by the West Virginia Archives. Save yourself $6 and avoid this publication.

This is really small
This is more like a booklet, not a book. There are only 16 pages of text. It should be more like $3, not $15. That being said, the writing is great and well worth reading - I just think it is incredibly overpriced.

Too short.
Admittedly, it is my fault for not double-checking the length of this "book" before checking out - it's a total of 14 pages including filler pages with images and titles. All of the material in the book can be found online in a pdf. I would definitely recommend reading this, however, I would never recommend buying it.

Invaluable!
This book is invaluable because it provides accurate information as to who John Brown was and what he stood for. Even now, decades after his death, his critics speak through distorted accounts of his intent and actions. It is good to get the truth in his own words.

Insightful
This tiny volume provides quite a bit of insight into the mind of John Brown during his final days before his martyrdom. Would love to find a work comprised of all his available letters and sermons/speeches.

VERY INFORMATIVE
It's great to be able to read inserts from history. The strength and conviction of John Brown's faith is a testament that even the threat of death can not stop ones determination to be righteous.
