Leather Travel Duffel Bags for Men - Holdall Airplane Underseat Carry On Luggage by Rustic Town

This is a bag for those who appreciate and understand leather. The natural markings on mine are not as pronounced as on the photographs but they are very much present. The bag is not lightweight – 1.8 kg as described – which reflects the thickness and quality of the leather. Rather stiff when arrived; some may prefer it this way, but I softened the leather with Lord Sheraton balsam. This takes a bit of patience and some bending and squashing, but the result is worth it: a bag that is sufficiently rigid to hold its shape well but yields nicely when handled.The design is both tasteful and functional: the handles and the strap are attached in a very secure way, distributing the stress on the material. This is a practical, sturdy piece – of the kind that looks better with every scratch and abrasion acquired. What seems to be missing is a pocket on the outside, but this would probably be detrimental to the very balanced look of the bag.

Bag has just arrived (next day delivery). The leather is thick and the finish exactly what you see in the listing (I ordered the brown). As with all such items it’ll get better looking with use and a few scuffs! I checked before buying and it does conform to Ryanair’s current overhead locker size restrictions, so it’ll comply with everyone else’s. It’ll be perfect for an overnight bag, being big enough for most people.The bag comes in a hessian(?) drawstring cover, with the metal elements wrapped in plastic to protect against scratching the leather in storage/transit. Unlike cheap bags it doesn’t have a smell as so with poorly tanned leather and the shoulder strap is of the same high quality material. Care instructions are also supplied.Excellent product.

Absolutely love this bag! The rustic/ vintage look really stands out! Very stylish and I've had a lot of compliments from people about how nice it isStorage wise it's good too, has a zip compartment which I keep keys in and my passport if I use it for travelling. Perfect for shorthall flights.Has a few little slots for pens which is handy and I do actually use it. The kind of stuff I fit in there is a couple pairs of jeans, 2 or 3 t-shirt, a couple of jumpers, socks and underwear and a wash/travel bag full with productsHonestly highly recommend this bag!

Got this for work, now its arrived i have decided its to good for work. The workmanship and leather are 100%, it also has a divine smell. Now what to do with it ? as no way am i sending it back. I said to the wife she could use it as a overnight bag when she goes to hospital, trouble is she is to old for the maternity bit, so i suggested a visit to A&E.So now ill have to open the shed and get the tool kit out and sabotage the stairs or rig the bath to the mains !ONLY JOKING, REGARDLESS WHETHER WE USE IT OR NOT IT IS STAYING.1000% STOP READING THIS AND BUY ONE.

I was very impressed with the quality of this duffel bag, my only concern is that it is in fact a little to large to go under an airplane seat and leave enough room for my feet with comfort, that providing it doesn't have to go on it's side !! I always put a main case in the hold and use hand luggage for the bits I need for the journey, plus some gluten free items like bread and other bits of food for my diet which would get crushed in the main hold or the overhead compartment, it would be nice to see this company do a bag a little smaller for a good customer choice..... hope they are listening!!

Amazing bag , looked so expensive , my husband got loads of compliment , the only loophole I would say is that it is little heavier , like I being a lady wasn't comfy lifting it. But still a very nice purchase .

I have actually returned this but it's not a reflection of the bag itself as I think it's a quality product with genuinely brilliant craftsmanship.Beautiful smell from the leather, strong secure bag and would be more than suitable for a few days worth of clothes. Only reason I returned it was by being a tiny bit bigger than I needed. Can't fault the quality of it at all though.

Cannot yet comment on its fit for purpose as this is a gift that has not yet been given to the intended recipient. It looks and feels as described in terms of quality and size etc without having tested it. THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION - I am disappointed by the colour as there is too much yellow colour across the entire body of the bag and this is more in patches than blended in
