I am not a beginner...and find wool difficult to use...it doesn't like being restrained...I use a temporary spray adhesive for FMQ and find it harder to work with...The adhesive barely restrains it....It does however give a nice "trapunto" look and feel....

I'm a longarm quilter and was looking for something that would add great texture to a project that I was doing loads of free motion stitching on and this Quilters Dream Wool is working out perfectly. Have used this wool for other projects and found this more puffy than previous packages I've bought.

Favorite batting for my toddler granddaughter, washes well and has a little puff to it which she loves.

I love wool batting as it breathes. It keeps you warm in the winter and doesn't overheat you in the summer. This batting has a little loft so it makes your quilting stand out more and overall is much softer.

This is the best batting!!!!! Good for hand quilting as well!!!

Dream Wool is a nightmare. It beards horribly. Bearding is when the fibers from the batting work their way through the quilt top and back to the surface of the quilt. I used cotton fabric and machine quilted. The bearding started before I finished the quilting. I put the quilt in the wash on gentle and lined dried. There was so much fuzz that could not be removed with masking tape, it had to be picked out. It took me a long time to get all the fuzzy of the front and back. But alas, this was all in vain as the bearding continued. The quilt is a ruined mess of fuzz. Please, don't waste your money on Dream Wool. I never had this problem with Hobbs Wool. I will never buy Dream Wool again.
