I love these capos
These capos are super light and don't get in the way at all - Way more user friendly than any other capo I have ever used. Music Gifts Plus gives excellent service too!!

I Don't Like This Capo
This is about my least favorite of all the many capos I've used. It requires endless tweaking to get it to solidly bar all the strings simultaneously, and even then your triumph may only be temporary.

worthless
this capo is awful...doesn't work.. low E string buzzes..very difficult to attach ...wouuld not recommend this particularly for a beginner...get 'em SHUBB..they'll be better off

The strap broke on the first use.
This product is of poor quality. The rubber strap broke the first time it was used.

Light but not easy to set
Once set it works great for intonation and being in tune. Light weight and seems to be very non-damaging to the neck. Difficult to set and the screw is flimsy and hard to tighten. Not quick to set.

What a disappointment. I assumed the capo would be flimsy and
Being a G7th capo owner and fan, I purchased one of their new ultralight capos out. What a disappointment. I assumed the capo would be flimsy and, worst case, something to leave in the guitar case for my campfire guitar. I won't even use it for that. This thing is clumsy to use and cannot be stored behind the nut when not in use. Sorry G7th team, this was a big miss.

DO NOT BUY
I read all comments, and I do not even know how you guys managed to put this capo onto your neck. I bought it new and opened it in order to put onto the neck, and it broke from the bottom right away... It's all made of hard plastic, whoever designed this should be fired.

Nice idea, but not impressed.
I am always willing to try new musical products and capos are a subject of interest. I have purchased G7th capos in the past and have never been entirely satisfied. I thought I would give this one a try as I was attracted by its simple and innovative design. First off, when it arrived it was obvious that another customer had tried it and returned it, as the packaging had been sellotaped together! I first tried the capo on my Fender Telecaster and found it a little awkward to fit. I like to keep the capo on the end of the fretboard just beyond the nut. unfortunately this was not possible on the Telecaster. I next tried it on my Martin acoustic. I found I could not tighten the screw sufficiently to stop the G string buzzing when picking reasonably hard. I even went to the trouble of lubricating the screw thread, which made it easier to adjust, but still could not prevent string buzz on the middle strings. I feel that if the contact cushion was a little softer it might work better. Or perhaps it is because my guitar has a rather flat fretboard. Overall, I am not impressed by this any more than I have been with previous purchases of G7th products.

Light weight, small and unobtrusive
This G7th Ultralight Capo works perfectly. Takes a little getting used to to fit to the guitar neck by pulling the main body to release, fit around the neck, click into place and then tighten the screw to adjust. Once in place it doesn't move and compresses all strings equally with no string buzz. I have been using it at fret #4 on my Epiphone Les Paul, with ease. I particularly like the fact that it has no protruding levers to get in the way of the fretting hand making chord structure easy. It is easy to manoeuvre by adjusting the screw and sliding the capo up or down the fretboard. Used with care I see no reason why the G7th shouldn't last for considerable time and at the price it represents great value.Highly recommended.

Great for ukulele :-)
Great for ukulele :-)For thin neck guitar like instruments... if that makes sense.Small format design, so does not get in the way much. Really useful for chords tight against capo.Tight against strings anywhere inbetween frets. It is not quick release like spring capos. It has a bolt screw. Screw on, screw off.. with fingers.Great capo. I'm happy with it.

Not good for an electric guitar.
Alas, not suitable for an electric guitar, though it says “acoustic or electric” on the packaging. The bar is dead flat, but the fretboard of an electric guitar isn’t, so you have to clamp it very hard the fret both E strings, sharpening the middle strings. My Ibanez has a Wizard 3 neck, which is flatter than many guitar necks. The clamping method is a successful design, though. :-)

Thread to short !
.....this is only holding on about one turn of thread at the second fret on my Gretsch 'Sreamliner' neck...Why is the thread so short...?
