Great locking universal joint set
Like some others I found the 1/4” universal joint wouldn’t lock on until I examined the socket and realized why. None of the sockets that I have made in China or Taiwan have the well made little dimples on the wall of the 1/4” socket that the lock on the drive. Not even the Craftsman foreign manufactured 1/4” sockets have the dimples needed to lock on the drive. My old made in USA Craftsman do as well as SnapOn. I did find the Kobalt 1/4” sockets made for Lowe’s do have the dimples. This set of Universal drives is great when you have to “turn the corner “ to get at a fastner.

Nicely engineered
As another reviewer stated, the 1/4 one will not grab and hold most sockets. But works fine with gearwrench 1/4 , 12 point socket sets, SAE or Metric. Go figure. Comes with a plastic holding container with a clear coverJust imagine using a 24" extension with a universal on the end and your snap on socket falls off, never to be seen again. Best to use this universal on the end of a locking type extension. That way, nothing can fall off. Just an FYI.

Good tool to have
Work perfectly on all 3 of then, even the 1/4 drive universal lock my SK chrome socket.
