I had the “other” BSC for 300lb people, and could not even wipe myself as there was no room to even wedge a pencil in my buttcheecks in that chair. This chair feels fit for a royal princess such as myself and leaves plenty of room for activities. Seat is so comfortable I want to sing hallelujah every time I sit down. The drop arms were a bit iffy and take a lot to make them click. Once they click it’s all good. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I did have to wipe down when I bought it though because it was a weird shade of tan that actually wiped off and I don’t know what it was. I’m just telling myself it’s some sort of a manufacturing thing and I didn’t get a used commode.

We replaced an older model of a bariatric commode with this. It is very sturdy and easy to use. We wanted one with drop arms in case a transfer board was needed in the future.

Well built, sturdy chair. Came almost fully assembled; I only needed to attach the backrest. Much more comfortable to use than the $40-$60 3-in1 chairs which are leaner and uncomfortable to use to care for yourself. My only criticism is that it took over a week to arrive. I saved about $100, however. If you can stand the long shipping time, this one is worth it. Otherwise, spend the extra money to get something sooner.

This bedside commode replaced an older model that pin he'd my skin and had enough wear that it was no longer comfortable. The size fits, the platform is smooth, the arms are comfortable to rest and push harder for standing and balance. The bucket has a handle and sits firmly with little effort. When you need a commode for closer proximity,you can rely on this not to tip or lose balance. Surprised at such a good price! This commode should last a long time.

I have refused other Bedside Commode Chair because they were Not very sturdy and would not hold my weight. This chair not only held my weight but came at a very good price through Amazon. I would recommend this chair to anyone that is looking for high quality and affordability.

Just what I expected- used at hospital

I was going to use this in my powder room over the toilet (not as a bedside commode) and scoured all dimensions and measured my powder room toilet and clearance to ensure it would fit. What they don’t tell you is that the leg braces stick out about 1.5 inches from the arms — which gave me a 1.5 inch offset from the toilet bowl. So, it was a waste of money unless I need it down the line as a bedside commode (doubtful). I also had some trouble with one of the arms locking but with some finagling, I was able to make it work without too much trouble. Otherwise, it seems sturdy but also agree with the one reviewer who said the hole should be bigger.
