It's ok for beginners. But the needle holder in this set is not great. It doesn't lock shut well, so while I'm practicing it suddenly slips or snaps open! Not only is that frustrating (and dangerous), but damages the needles from repeatedly clamping closed again.

for its price i would give it a a 6/10, but not durable enough and the tools hurt your fingers, the silicon pad gets cut easily when you tie a knot, but i would suggest getting one that is efficient and smooth

Worst quality, the pad keeps tearing. I rather suture a banana

As a second-year dental student, I highly recommend you don't purchase this. The whole kit is bad quality and the instruments are faulty. I had my first surgery lab for suturing and realized the needle holder automatically locked with barely any pressure applied and it was IMPOSSIBLE to suture properly. I tried the other suture kits my friends had and realized that their instruments were much higher quality and so easy to work with. Not to mention they are way cheaper.
