Cheap solution to replace closet sliding doors!!
I removed the old sliding doors from a big closet, but did not want to install a new frame and hinged doors due to cost, so I mounted these french door swing-arm curtain rods on the wall above the closet, used some rod-pocket curtains I already had, and now I can completely open the closet to gain full access!! I love that each curtain rod is extensible so there is no gap between the curtains, but I'm not extending them to their full length as I am concerned that with continual use the rods may sag and/or the screws may pull out where the swing-arm fixture is attached to the wall. I'm also using a curtain wand to push the curtain rod out and back, rather than tugging on the curtain fabric, for the same reasons. I may now install more swing-arm curtain rods inside some closets to holds scarves as well...*** Update: These rods did not hold up to regular daily use, the attachment hardware was not sturdy enough.

well made, strong
used as swinging doors on a potting shed with greenhouse plastic sheeting as a fabric. they stand up well outdoors under windy conditions.

Does what I needed
I have an old, ugly, rarely used door to the outside. For years I have hung a floor length curtain over it to hide its ugliness. But on the rare occasion I needed to exit through the door, it was exceedingly cumbersome to move the curtain to use the door. This rod seemed to be the solution — I can open the two sides of the curtain, use the door, then shut the two sides of the curtain when finished. Now that I have installed it, it works adequately for that purpose and I am happy with it. BUT, if this had to be used frequently, I would not be. A curtain rod attached to the wall on only one end cannot maintain level, gravity wins in the end. I used a level, put both sides with the rod at the top of the fastener, and tightened the securing ball-bolt as much as possible, but still there is a very slight downward incline to the center which I have hidden by propping the end of the rod on the top door frame. If you are a perfectionist, you will not be pleased. But I am not a perfectionist and I am very happy to have this functional solution to an annoying issue.

Great, functional, movable curtain rod
With all the eClasses these days, my kid likes to take breaks off camera. So we purchased this little swiveling curtain rod and tossed a piece of fabric over it and put it to the side of the camera. So she can still leave her camera on, swivel out the curtain to block her snack/rest area when she takes breaks and I don't have to hear the teacher yammering childishly on and on and on about her turning off the camera. (Teachers - grow up already.) Some modicum of privacy between classes and inclass breaks when they are so short she can't really get up and leave. Sturdy, looks ok and is easy to install. Thank you!

Looks good!
I really like the look and the functionality of it. I don’t like how it sags at the end. I recommend doing what I did find a sticky hook and laying the rod on top of it so it doesn’t sag. Overall I like it!

Perfect!
This solved my problem! I wanted my velvet curtains to divide my small library from the rest of the room, but hanging a full rod just looked ugly. These are working perfectly, plus they are movable! I love them.
