Okay, so here we go.I received my 2nd pair of these shoes yesterday.The first pair (as another reviewer mentioned) looked like they came from different dye lots. One was brown and the other was BROWN.Sent them back, no problem. A couple days later I received the replacements. Color was fine.When I first put them on I had on white athletic socks. I also have thick (veritcally) and wide feet. I could barely get my foot in and it pulled my sock so that my toes were almost curled underneath my feet..Again, going back to reviews I had read here on Amazon, they fit snug at first and then relaxed after being worn a bit.I wore them to a Bible study at my church with out socks. They fit tight across my instep and top of foot at first. By the time I got home they felt pretty ok.I am wearing them today (day 2) with dress socks and they feel fine. Like most shoes they need to get broken in (even though they come with that look)I anticipate these becoming my go to shoes. I am not much of a tennis shoe kind of guy (yes I own a pair). For years I have been wearing a pair of Timberland oxfords that I loved. Time and shoes do not go well together and after 4 years I have had to put them in the "yard work" category.I am hoping these hold up as well.Following up... The more I wear these the more I love them!Being summer time I am not wearing them as much, however most Sundays I am wearing them to church, they look great, they feel great and the soles have this cushiness to them that adds comfort. I still can't wear them with my heaviest socks but that is ok, I have enough other socks.in the words of Cramer from CNBC,,, buy buy buy!

Excellent quality leather for the price. The boots are very well constructed and comfortable. The leather is really nice. It's darker brown in person when you first take them out of the box, but will probably get lighter. I haven't gotten to fully wear the boot. PLEASE NOTE: THE BOOTS RUN AT LEAST 1/2 SIZE LARGE, POSSIBLY A FULL SIZE LARGE. For example, I have a pair of Clark's Original Desert boots in a 10.5. When I first got them, I enjoyed just a little bit of what I considered extra space, but after wearing them for a few days realized that they were in fact too big. Due to the sole being scuffed and dirty from light wear, I was unable to return them. So when I ordered the Bushacre, I figured they would be the same, so I ordered a 10 instead of 10.5 thinking they would be a half size smaller. This was not the case. When I held the two pairs of boots up to one another, they clearly were identical. Consider sizing down at least one half size.Here is a list of my sizes which may or may not be helpful:Allen Edmonds: 10 C/DWolverine 1000 mile: 9.5 DOriginal Chippewa: 9.5 DConverse Chuck Taylor: 9 DI cannot stress how good these boots look. I really love the dark brown color, and I was ready for a nice leather boot since I already have the lighter color (Oakwood) suede boots. I may consider a future purchase of another pair in a lighter color leather and/or a gray suede depending on availability. Very versatile. Goes with almost all of my slacks, jeans, and chinos. Awesome.PS: Kudos for Amazon for making the exchange process so simple and effective. Got the boots, size to big, put in for the exchange, and now order has already been dispatched for different size. Boxed them back up, printed return label, and now I'll stop at UPS during lunch to complete the exchange. I love how efficient this is.

Gorgeous leather boot. Looks great on my husband and he says they’re really comfy.

Fits large, I wear size 10 and ordered 9.5wide. It fits like a 10.5 which is disappointing because I don't have time to return it. Quality seems ok.

The one i received was made in India. I don't see that as a problem. Most people prefer the Vietnam made Clarks but, I know India has capable craftsmen as well. I am not sure I like the cork sole and man made inner lining but I guess that is what seperates it from the Desert boots that cost more in comparison. I currently own the Wallabee and Shacre lite, and they are very comfortable. I feel this one will take a few months to break in and shape to my feet. It feels durable and looks well stictched.

Great shoes. Will break in over time. But I find them comfortable from the start
