Comparing to A&E Sun Stop & Wick of the same size, in industrial sewing machines: This thread feeds worse, shreds easier, is less strong, and doesn't have any coating. I use this thread for indoor projects where the thread strength is not critical: overlocking, and decorative double-needle stitches.This thread is a great value when you need to buy multiple spools for a single machine, but there is no way I'd use this thread for anything outdoors or where the failure of the thread could mean damage to property or a person.If you're doing something that you want to last a long time or will be used outdoors, a little more money will get you a better thread elsewhere.

This is perfect thread for reupholstering heavy duty items that you don’t want to come apart very happy with the thread and the strength of the thread

This thread is not for the larger industrial sewing machines like the one that I have. It breaks easily and will not readily feed through my machine, and does not seem to be a bonded nylon; I thought it was, also not a #69 thread size as far as I could tell. Might work well for a home sewing machine though.
