Slightly More Expensive Than Other Numbing Creams I Have Tried
As I turned 40 this year I have noticed more and more issues with random pain issues, especially after an 8 hours shift on my feet. My mom's doctor recommended a topical lidocaine cream to her and so I was looking for one for myself. I initially liked the idea of this being in a jar but quickly realized that wasn't as great as I thought. The lidocaine cream has a numbing effect, which is great where you want it, however pretty horrible in other areas. I have really long nails so no matter how I tried to get the cream out of the jars some of it got under my nails. After I applied the cream I instantly went to wash my hands but by then enough of the cream had been under my nails long enough that I was having weird numbness under them for a long time afterwards. This of course was very annoying and I eventually had to get a small plastic spoon to get the cream out and spread it around. For this reason I don't think I would recommend this jar version to anyone with long nails. However if you have short nails you should be fine. The cream works well and does help with my pain. I have used my mom's and it is on par with that one except that hers is a tube so I don't have as many issues with it getting under my nails. Hers is also slightly less expensive for the same amount but not by much. While I do think this lidocaine cream works I am not a fan of the container so I wouldn't recommend it.

Dr Butlers Num Cream
Over priced and did not work very well. When I received the cream it was only half full and was small jar of cream to start with.

Helps with Menstrual Irritation Too!
So this is technically meant to help with hemorrhoids and irritation in that area but I have found that it also helps with menstrual cycle irritation. This is what I have been using it for and I have been very happy with the results.***TMI alert*** All the ladies who are reading this can probably relate. I often suffer with painful irritation down there, especially near the rectum area, during my monthly cycle. The pads sometimes trap moisture in and the moisture, especially when its hot and humid during the summer, causes rashes for me that burn and sting. Its pretty much the equivalent to a diaper rash, only in this case I guess you would call it a "pad rash." 🤣😭Anyway, this stuff really does help! Not only does it help to numb the pain very efficiently, but it also soothes the area and I feel like it actually helps the irritation heal and subside.Don't be fooled by the small bottle. You only need to use a teeny tab of this in order for it to be effective. This container is going to last for quite some time!Good deal, good performance. Highly recommended.

Amazing branding, even better pain relief
There's a perpetual need for lidocaine products in this home due to chronic foot pain. Maybe the product says for feet, perhaps for - ahem - more sensitive areas.Doctor Butler's Numb-It-All Cream sounds like it should be hawked at a sideshow, with the catchphrase of Leave The Pain Behind. I'm not mocking it - this is hilarious at a time when some levity of the situation could be needed. The small container opens with a child-proof lid, no safety coating beneath it. As an expert in so, so many lidocaine creams, I can confidently say that this is one of the best non-presciption ones that I've tried. It goes on easily - a small amount goes a long way - and absorbs fully without being greasy. Pain was slowly, beautifully relieved enough for sound sleep. The relief seems to go deeper into the muscle than with other products, after a brief massage to work it in. (Reminder: I mean on feet. Really.)
