In addition, the openings above the CPU and LAN chips are sized to accommodate heat sinks for 3rd generations of the Raspberry Pi, including versions 3, 2 and B+. It is strong enough and can withstand being pulled apart and re-assembled many times if necessary. Not suitable for the Model A/A+ boards or the original format Model B. About Installation: This case snaps together, it comes fully assembled. To install the pie, simply pull the bottom two pieces apart, slide the board under two clips on the SD card side of the board and snap the top half of the case back on.
