Just put it together.PROS:Super easy to assemble, 8 bolts and it came with a tool to tighten them.I took off the lumbar padding right away, but that is a personal thing.At least it's available if you like it and easy to remove if you don't.I like the neck padding. It's at the right height and right amount of padding.CONS:I'm 5'10"" and wish it would raise another 2", not sure how this would feel to a shorter person. If this could be an issue with you I suggest you check the min-max height before ordering.My elbows hang off the back of the arm rest which is a bit uncomfortable and why I took off 1 star.CONCLUSION:Overall I am satisfied. With years and years in my old chair I know there will be an adjustment period.UPDATE:After a month or so this chair is uncomfortable. I reverted back to my old chair. The seat was uncomfortable over time even though it was 4" of foam. The arm rests were not placed where I need them. Maybe someone less than 200lbs and smaller will not find this a problem. My wife and daughter (100lbs less than me) did not want the chair, so it will sit in the corner. The height was still an issue that I could not get used to, it needs another 2 or 3 inches for my desk.

UPDATE: 7 months later. This chair is still working phenomenally with no problems whatsoever. I was afraid the bolts and boards will start getting loose after completely disassembling and reassembling it a few times, but everything is still holding on securely. I recline and adjust the height of the chair fairly often since I'm on the computer a lot and not once did I need to oil anything. The recline force from the spring is still there, but hey. You get use to it and learn to not get KO-ed. Cushions are still comfortable and they're not deflated. After 7 months, I'd still recommend this chair to people who don't mind their chairs not being big shot name brands.I was absolutely surprised and amazed at how fast I received this product. I placed the order on the night of May 4th and it arrived on May 6th late afternoon even though this product wasn't eligible for Amazon Prime. As of right now, my tracking still states my product is being prepared. The box was 4.5' x 8" and weighed approximately 50lbs. It came with a pictured instruction manual that was very easy to understand, so it only took 10-15 minutes to fully assemble the chair.The chair itself obviously looked spectacular. However, it had a very strong factory odor which might require some airing out. The material feels like faux leather and it squeaks every time I rub, sit, or move around in it. The height lever and wheels are both very smooth; I daresay it'll roll on carpeted floor just as easily as on hardwood/tiled floor. One thing that might need some tweaking is the reclining mechanism. The spring is very strong, so when adjusting back to the upright position from the flat position I'd feel a strong force against my back if I don't guide the chair back up correctly.The lumbar support and base of the chair are very well cushioned. I can sit on it for a few hours while playing games without feeling pain. The head rest is much softer than the lumbar base cushion which is expected. Honestly, who'd want to rest their head on a rock? The base of the cushion is about 4" thick, width is about 1.5'. This chair doesn't seem to have a tilt/lean function as described.Armrests are very lightly padded. I wouldn't recommend it if it's for someone who'd use the armrest consistently. The armrests, however, are adjustable in both height and width. The height can be adjusted any time by pushing the knob on the side, but if you want to adjust the width of the armrest you can only do so by loosening the screws and readjusting. I have enough room to sit Indian style and feel comfortable, but then again I'm a small person (5'2'' & 103lbs). The difference is very minute (a little less than 1" on each side), but for certain people it can be a major difference.

Great chair and would have loved to love it, but QC issues everywhere. The leather has some rough spots, arm rest are not 100% and some of the plastic is cracked, it was packaged amazing and box wasn't damaged so it wasn't from shipping, Edit: they rectified the situation. I love this chair. Would be gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for the quality control problem I had, hopefully only a fluke

Its an awesome chair for the price. Few issues I had were one of the bolts on the bottom that connects the seat to the stem was totally stripped when I got this. Luckily I managed to make shift get it in there and the other 3 being sturdy left it perfectly functional. I wish it went a little higher. I feel like the highest setting is a little low.All and all it's a solid chair I'm happy with.

When it arrived, it had a couple small punctures in the leather. They are in very unnoticeable spots but I figured I'd let everyone know anyways. Not noticeable in everyday use. It also came without screws but the vendor gave a decent partial refund as well as the screw sizes to go out and buy them. Once I got it together I've had no issues. Super comfy, perfect range of motion in the reclining and the arm rest movement. So far I love it.

As someone who sits for 4 or so hours straight, I can say that this chair fits what it says and does it much better than more expensive chairs. Quick assembly, comfortable back support (you can tighten the straps if the pillow slips). And you can sit comfortably for long periods.

For the price id say it was alright but the arm rests hurt my arms after about 20 minutes or so, they should have used some sort of cushions for them enstead of a flexible silicone of some sort. The cushion for your butt also kinda sucks so I had to put a pillow over top of it so it doesn't hurt my butt. Wish i would have just spent like 40 dollars more for a actual high quality one but it works.

Great product. Easy to assemble. Only wish that the armrests would extend higher for personal use.
