LESS THAN 3 MONTHS USE...
4-11-2017 UPDATE: ISSUE WAS WITH CABLE AND NOT SPEAKER!! Speaker works great and gets daily use. OLD REVIEW: USB cable immediately falls out of speaker!!! Tried higher quality cable and same thing. Speaker stays on the headboard of my bed. Love bluetooth speakers. However, will be more careful when replacing this one.

Took less than 60 seconds to open the box, plug in a charger, turn it on, pair it to my phone and start listening to music. I don't know what everyone else wants for $40 but this speaker exceeds my expectations. I think I'm going to use it for a while to see if it keeps working like it is right out of the box and if it does I'm going to buy a couple more for my adult kids. This is a very nice product. It feels well made, sounds great, and has an on/off switch. You can blue tooth or use an audio cable. Everything I need. Great product.

pleasantly suprised!
This speaker is excellent, amazing sound for something so compact. Took 5 seconds to pair with my galaxy S5 and was playing music almost instantly. Bass is clear and makes this little box shake when at full volume. Within an hour I already ordered one for a friend. Would recommend this item for anyone thinking about trying a portable bluetooth system.

Great sound...but needs better battery
The speaker is great for the price. I really love the sound. Gets pretty loud and very little distortion even at full volume. Has decent bass as well. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the review I seen before buying said it had 2000mA battery good for up to 8 hours, but the reality is it's only 1000mA good for 3-4 hours. That was a disappointment...but the speaker sounds great at an excellent price. The battery is the only let down. :(

I was very surprised the quality of this unit. It is great. My husband is hard of hearing and the words were very understandable to him while driving in the car with all the road noise. We checked it out with an audio book since we are going on a trip and wanted to be able to download books on the ipad and then listen to them while on the road. The music quality is good too. Perfect size too.

Let me start with what you need to know. BUY THIS!!! For the price you do not get anything even close. You don't get anything close for 3x the price. I have a jawbone product similar, and I can say without a doubt, the n Boise is as good perhaps better.

2 year update....bought December 2014Speaker just beeps continuously, non stop, even if fully charged or connected directly outlet. It will pair and play, then starts non stop beeping. You can temporarily stop the beeping by holding any button down, but then when released the beeping restarts. No documentation on their website or via the manual to troubleshoot the issue.Buy a name brand when considering bluetooth speakers.ManCaveBought 3 of these as Christmas gifts for family members. In my opinion, based on research and other video reviews, this model offered the most features and value for the price, especially the 12W's and the NFC (NFC is worth its weight in gold). The sound quality is what I expected for a unit this size, but the bass is above average. The only real negative that I can see initially is that it doesn't come with a charge adapter to plug into an outlet; you can only charge via USB or buy the adapter at Best Buy or Amazon.Other models I considered below and why I didn't buy them.SHARRK -- at $59 way more expensive than what I paid for the Bolse, but the only significant advantage was the 15 hr battery vs 8.DNight -- Bluetooth 3.0 and only 3W'sSoundBlock -- Bluetooth 3.0, only 3W's (but did have a 10 hour battery)Photo Cyren -- Bluetooth 3.0, only 3W's (but comes with a basic case and has 10 hr battery)All in all, it came down to which model offered the best reviews, and edged out the others in terms of features and value to cost.
